Japanese Spa

Japanese Spa is a massage spa serving guests in Tampa, FL, at 4035 W Kennedy Blvd, Tampa, FL 33609. Its location on West Kennedy Boulevard makes it a convenient option for people looking for a massage in Tampa, whether they are seeking everyday relaxation, attention for tight back muscles, or a quiet break from a busy schedule. The business is open daily, Monday through Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering broad scheduling flexibility for daytime and evening visits.

Services described by customers include traditional massage appointments, combination massage sessions, and, in at least one review, a treatment that included steam and a body scrub. A reviewer who visited with therapist Kim described a Korean-style technique that was somewhat firm, followed by a gentler finish. Another customer said a combination massage felt effective and that the staff were attentive and kind. These comments suggest that treatment style may vary depending on the therapist and the service selected, so guests may want to discuss their preferred pressure and goals before beginning.

Japanese Spa may be suitable for individuals focused on relaxation, guests working through muscle tightness, and small groups looking for a shared appointment. One review mentioned a room large enough for a party of five, which could be useful for friends or family members interested in visiting together. The feedback also points to a straightforward, value-conscious experience, with reviewers mentioning affordable pricing and a spacious setting. Because massage preferences differ, it is helpful to communicate clearly about pressure, comfort, and whether steam or body scrub elements are included in a particular service.

Customer experiences are mixed, and the business currently has a 3.8 rating from 18 reviews. Several guests praised the massage, combination treatment, staff attentiveness, or value, while other reviews expressed disappointment with technique, communication, or the overall session. One older review also mentioned that the space was in the process of being remodeled, so current conditions may differ from that earlier visit. Reading recent feedback and confirming the details of an appointment can help set appropriate expectations before arriving.

For anyone searching for a massage spa in Tampa, Florida, Japanese Spa offers daily hours and a range of experiences described by local customers, from basic massage visits to combination treatments with added steam and body care.
