Sign in to reviewAttempted to make a new patient appointment numerous times just to have the office’s “receptionist” answer, then pretend to not hear me so they can hang up. Once is believable, so I call back to repeat the process. The worst part is when you call back you’re placed 4th on the line, always. Truly unsatisfactory. I cannot say much for the doctor’s services. I was hopeful in seeing the doctor based on the reviews. Hopefully the doctor’s services are actually professional to those that manage to get an appointment. I had enough and changed my pcp to safe myself 20minutes being on hold just to get dropped on false pretense.
This was my first visit with Dr. Friehling. he was very personable and spent a lot of time with me. He did not act like he was rushed or that I was taking up too much of his time. he went over the in-depth questionnaire with me, that no one ever has done before. I often wonder why I need to fill these questionnaires out because it seems apparent to me that no one looks at them. But Dr. Friehling looked at it and its entirety and asked me a lot of specific questions. he made the effort to look up my medical history instead of relying on me to tell me what it was. I felt he was very thorough in his examination and listened to all of my concerns.
We made this appointment over a month ago and were never warned or informed that if actively sick, they will NOT see you in person. It’s video chat only. My husband had to sit out front in the cold and do a video apt because we planned that while he was dropped off, I was on an errand. When did drs not believe in masks anymore? What’s the point? Absolute waste of time, money, and horrific communication. Thank you for just telling him to get a Covid test when he barely has any “Covid” symptoms but a mild cold.
Jay has been my doctor for over 8 years and I have always felt confident in his treatment. One of his strongest attributes is his good simple communication on medical conditions. And especially his willingness to forward you to whatever specialist you're in need of.
Dr. Friehling has been my physician for several years. I enjoy his friendly demeanor. He is Always concerned about my health and well being. I recommend him often. The only recommendation I would make....the office needs to have their appointment calendar go out 6 months. Often I can’t make an appointment because the appointment calendar doesn’t go out that far. It’s an IT issue that needs to be looked at.
