Jay's Automotive & Mobile Mechanic

Jay's Automotive & Mobile Mechanic is a mechanic serving drivers in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Based at 2145 NW 29th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73107, the business also offers mobile mechanic help, as reflected in customer accounts of Jay traveling to stranded motorists and working on their vehicles where they were. That can be especially useful when a vehicle problem makes it difficult or unsafe to drive to a repair shop. The listed hours are 24 hours a day, seven days a week, giving drivers a place to contact when trouble comes up outside a typical workday. For a particular visit or roadside situation, contact Jay to discuss the location, vehicle, and problem.

Customers describe help with several specific repairs and situations. One review says Jay replaced a broken tie rod on a truck at 4 a.m. after the driver became stranded hours from home. Other reviewers mention a brake caliper replacement and help with a bad alternator on a Sunday. These accounts point to practical assistance with steering, brake, and charging-system problems, along with on-site assessment when the cause is not immediately clear. They do not define every service offered, so it is sensible to explain the symptoms and ask what Jay can handle before arranging a repair.

Reviewers also emphasize the way Jay approaches roadside calls. One customer says he arrived quickly, tested several things, and identified the issue in a timely manner. The same reviewer recalls that Jay noticed the vehicle was low on gas and offered to follow them to a gas station, an extra precaution that helped them feel supported. Another describes Jay as prepared, knowledgeable, friendly, and fairly priced. These are individual customer experiences rather than a guarantee, but they give prospective customers a useful picture of the communication and care they have appreciated.

The business may suit drivers in Oklahoma City who need mobile help, are stuck with a vehicle that will not safely make it to a shop, or need a mechanic to assess an unexpected problem. Reviews describe assistance at unusual hours and on weekends, including a lengthy alternator repair that one stranded customer said Jay stayed to complete. The listed daily hours make Jay's Automotive & Mobile Mechanic a possible contact for urgent situations; customers should confirm availability, travel arrangements, and expected costs when they call or text.

With a 3.8 rating from 21 reviews, feedback is not a substitute for discussing the details of a job directly. Share the vehicle's make and model, location, symptoms, and any warning signs when contacting Jay. Ask what testing or repair is recommended, whether the work can be done on-site, and what the estimate includes. For drivers looking for a mobile mechanic in Oklahoma City, Jay's Automotive & Mobile Mechanic is a locally located option with customer-reported experience responding to breakdowns and performing specific truck repairs.
