Jesters is a gift shop at 937 Decatur St in New Orleans, Louisiana, a convenient stop for visitors exploring Decatur Street and the nearby French Market. Its eye-catching decor caught the attention of one customer walking along the street, while others remember it as a favorite among the gift shops they visited in the city. Whether you are browsing between neighborhood stops or looking for a keepsake before heading home, Jesters offers a range of souvenirs to explore at your own pace.

Customers describe a distinctive selection, with souvenirs and T-shirts among the items that stand out in reviews. Postcards are another welcome find; one reviewer appreciated being able to pick some up at a good price, noting that they can be hard to find at other shops around the city. Another customer praised the T-shirts for their quality compared with shirts found at many other stores nearby. The selection may appeal to travelers who want something practical to wear, a small postcard to send, or a memento of time spent in New Orleans.

The shopping experience is described positively by several visitors, who mention friendly staff, a helpful shop owner, and attentive assistance. One customer singled out a staff member for going above and beyond, while another described prompt email communication after discovering that purchased shirts did not fit as expected. These accounts suggest that personal service can be part of a visit, though experiences are not uniform. One reviewer raised a concern about higher pricing for plus-size shirts, so shoppers who have questions about sizes or prices may want to confirm details with the store before purchasing. Sharing both positive feedback and this concern gives prospective visitors a more balanced picture.

Jesters is open daily, Monday through Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., making it possible to browse across the week and into the evening. The shop has a 4.0-star rating based on 24 reviews. Its Decatur Street location, range of souvenirs, postcards, and T-shirts make it a useful option for visitors comparing gift shops in New Orleans. If you are walking through the area, stop in to see what is available, check sizing and prices as needed, and choose a keepsake that suits your trip.

We stopped in Jesters and found the tee shirts of a much better quality than many of all the other shops. I purchased 3, and upon returning back to WI two of the shirts were to small. I emailed the store as the email address was on the receipt. Steve promptly responded, and when a replacement in the size I needed was not available, we touched base via texting the available colors. An exchange was made and kudo"s to Steve and this wonderful gift shop!

Came to New Orleans scouting out local vendors, especially in the French Market and while walking down Decatur the decor of Jester’s grabbed my attention. Within the first few minutes of browsing, I absolutely fell in love and met the staff. Britney is most definitely amazing, she above and beyond provided top notch customer service. I purchased some very cool collectibles and even better locals only snacks. Not disappointed at all!! I sure didn’t want to leave, but had to get on with my day and it’s a guarantee that I will be back!!

This was my favorite of all the gift shops we came across. Staff was friendly and they had a unique variety of souvenirs.

Very rude and size discrimination. They charge more for plus sizes. Even though the shirt was the same, they went on to tell me how it costs them more money so it should cost me more money. I did research, buying in bulk does not actually charge more, and even if it did then charge the same price for all the shirts accordingly, not more for plus sizes. Really awful way to treat customers and had a very blaming the customer response.
