Jim Kelly: Allstate Insurance

I received an advertisement from this agent to my address with a picture of my home that I have owned and lived in for 31 years and it was addressed to someone else. I called the number on the flyer because I am concerned why they think my home belongs to someone else. I got an agent that said they are having problems with the mailing lists they have been buying matching names to addresses. When I started to express my concerns the agent started in with “hey I am out with my family and pregnant wife” and making me feel bad for calling and being concerned “ Why did he answer the phone? This flyer, and the incorrect name really makes me wonder and concerned about how companies like this handle people’s personal information. This means that my name is on another advertisement to another home ?!?!?!I have been with my home insurance company for over 31 years, but if I ever need to change, I would not consider Allstate at all if this is their business practices. Also, I live in the SF Bay Area, why is a San Diego company sending flyers up here?

I have been a client at the Jim Kelly Allstate Agency since I was 18 years old. Which was two owners prior to Mr Kelly. I have always been treated well at this agency. Recently, one of the agents named Nate Thompson has saved me a significant amount of money by intelligent changes to my policies. I canceled my car insurance with Allstate because I found the same insurance for half the price. But my email notification was never received. I was charged for my monthly premium. I called and talked to Cindy Contreras. She was by far one of the most helpful people I've ever dealt with. She was 100 percent transparent. And within a few days. I was reimbursed all of my money. In this day and age. It is really hard to find people who are completely honest. Most sales people I have dealt with are always trying to angle you for more money. Or they use their position in the company to try and obtain personal gains. That was definitely not the case with Allstate's manager, Cindy Contreras.
