The menu experience described by guests points first to pho. A regular Pho Train, identified by a reviewer as a special combo noodle soup, is one noted choice for diners who want a substantial bowl with a combination of ingredients. Another customer enjoyed a large shrimp BBH order, especially the way its components were packed separately for takeout, leaving room to combine them at home in a large pot. Reviews also describe the food as authentic, hearty, comforting, and full of flavor, with lots of choices. These details make Joe’s Pho relevant to guests seeking a warming Vietnamese noodle meal or an order they can assemble carefully after pickup.
The experience is not only about the bowl. One guest specifically appreciated the tea and free wafers, while also describing a welcoming interaction with Nguyen and a patient, helpful staff member at the to-go counter. Those small touches suggest a place where diners may find both a sit-down Vietnamese meal and considerate assistance when placing a takeout order. Longtime customers are represented in the feedback as well, including one person who said they had visited since the restaurant opened. Together, the reviews present Joe’s Pho as a familiar local restaurant with varied customer experiences and a focus on approachable hospitality.
As with any restaurant based on individual reviews, experiences can differ. One reviewer reported a 25-minute wait for a Pho Train during a time they felt was not busy, while another long-term customer expressed concern about portion size, broth, and meat compared with earlier visits. These comments offer useful context for diners who value quick service or have particular expectations based on past meals. At the same time, other reviewers praise the flavors, selection, and welcoming service. Checking in with the restaurant about current timing or takeout needs can help guests plan a visit that fits their day.

Sign in to reviewI ordered a regular "pho train" (special combo noodle soup). It took 25 minutes to be served. At the time, the restaurant was not busy. Most other customers who arrived after me had already received their food before my bowl arrived. I understand that some preparation time is expected, but 25 minutes for a regular pho order under light traffic seems longer than typical. A simple heads-up about the wait time would have been helpful. This is not about taste, but about service consistency and communication. I hope the restaurant can review their order workflow.
Only my 2nd time there. I Ordered the Large Shrimp BBH Togo.. I liked how each component its pack separately Togo. It was more then enough to place in a big pot and mix it all together. The lady at the Togo Counter was very nice and patient with me. I will definitely be returning.
Nguyen was great and welcoming, made sure am all set ... What I enjoyed most is the tea, free walfers, was good experience hard to reach in my neighborhood
Been going to Joe’s since they opened. Always the best Pho in town for years. But unfortunately, that has changed. Now, they still think they are the best, but they’ve become the worst. Overpriced, smaller bowls, thin broth and skimpy meat. Will go elsewhere. So sad. Way to squeeze every dime out of your customers and change everything for the worse. Don’t care if the soft serve is free… when the large bowl is tiny, the broth thin and tasteless, and u put 3 pieces of meat in the bowl, well, that’s not Pho, it’s corporate America at its finest. Sad to see such good food get lost to $$$ & Covid mentality dumbness.
The food here feels both comforting and full of flavor. Authentic, hearty, and lots of choices. 🍲🥗
