Kim is amazing. She’s kind and listens so she gives you exactly what nails you want. Went in for a French dip nails and they came out so cute!! No longer gatekeeping on this awesome salon!
Joli nails is now under new ownership. It used to be such a staple for East Plano. It wasn’t frivolous, a great place to get quality service. The new owners make you feel so rushed and I could tell weren’t experienced. I spoke up about the color of my nails not being dark enough and after, it seemed like that they were talking about me. My manicure felt rushed and once Jenny was done she sat down to watch her phone. A new customer came in that had an appointment. Once he got there, she rolled her eyes at him because she had to work. Seriously this is not professional. The prices have increased. It is still not too expensive but I would advise going somewhere else for a better overall experience.
Absolutely disgusting experience. I would never recommend this nail salon to anyone. After getting my nails done here, multiple fingers became swollen, painful, and developed pus and signs of infection. I have never experienced anything like this from a salon before. Their sanitation and hygiene practices seriously need to be investigated because no customer should leave a nail appointment dealing with an infection afterward. Not only was this painful and stressful, but now I have to spend time and money treating something that should have never happened in the first place. Please be extremely careful before coming here and pay attention to whether their tools are actually being sanitized properly. I wish I would have read the reviews more carefully before trusting this place. I will definitely never be returning.
I go to Kim for my dip manicures and Tai for my pedicures at Joli. They are both wonderful! Both thorough and attentive and, when they are done, I really feel like I've had a day at the spa.
