Sign in to reviewTried out Jusgo Supermarket on Bellaire today. Not bad overall — I’d give it 3 stars. Prices were good, and they had a solid variety of items. One thing I noticed is the organization and cleanliness have definitely improved compared to before, which made shopping easier. Still a little crowded and hectic at times, but overall a decent spot if you’re looking for affordable Asian groceries in Houston Chinatown.
The store is itself is okay a lot of cheaper item than many other Asian store, but the cashier was rude . The older lady literally throw all of the food no matter if it is fragile or not after bagging. And another time I came there the younger lady rolled her eyes at me when I told her my card don’t have tap. Like she literally snatch the card out of my hand while I try to insert the chip and try to tap the card like my card can magically use tap. Like I know if my own card can use tap or not.
Authentic, well stocked and maintained. Pretty similar in operation and variety to Jusgo Atlanta which was a favorite of mine. This store a little narrow in comparison but well organized and more options for snack and sweets gift boxes. I found many of my favorites here and found new items to try too. Weekly deals in the seafood section is the best part.
I never come back this market. My cart was under $5 and the cashier told me that they didn’t take credit card but I had no cash. Then she told me “buy something for more $5” but I didn’t need anything else. Also, she did not explain that I could pay by debit while I had debit card too. NO SIGN TO NOTICE THAT “NOT ACCEPT THE CREDIT CARD IF TRANSACTION UNDER $5” BY ENGLISH, they use only Chinese sign. And I called to customer services to ask but they said that “only chinese, no english”. And I aksed for vietnamses but they said that “no vietnamese” and then they hanged off the phone. So impolite customer service. The manager please train again your staff
I utterly appall and disgusted with the way a Hispanic cashier treated my wife and daughter when they shop at the Jusgo Market at Bellaire on 09-28-2025. According to my wife, at the checkout the daughter bought a pack of Double Mint gum, and the Hispanic cashier run it through the scan. After the scan my daughter tried to open and the enjoy the gum she just bought. Instead, the cashier snatches it from her and accused my daughter for not paying for the item. Just before this, she was the one that scan the pack of gum, and she didn't even offer an apology. I just completely shock that Jusgo hired incompetent people that provide customer service. My wife and daughter feel humiliated and embarrassed by the cashier rude and obnoxious behavior. I would certainly reprimand the cashier and fire her immediately. If Jusgo management is reading this, I recommend retraining your employees in customer service before you lose a lot of customers.
