Sign in to reviewI needed blood and urine labs done. I was on a time crunch because I got off work at 8:45am and needed the labs done before 9:30am. I found parking right away. The labs were easy to find with all the signage and arrows. It was very busy and there was a long line. The line moved very fast and I checked in at 9:11am. The Woman at the front desk was very nice and put my mind at ease assuring me I would be helped by 9:30am. I did my first sample and by the time I was done my station was ready to take blood. The person drawing the blood was very nice too. She had a great smile and got me in and out. I was out the door before 9:30am. Whole thing took me less than 15 mins. I was very impressed with the level of service and friendliness of the staff. I would be happy to get more services done here. I highly recommend this location. They are very time efficient and considerate. They text you when you check in and text you when it’s your turn.
Everything about my annual check up appointment with Dr. Renslow and lab work went very well today. I arrived at the office approximately 5 minutes prior to my appointment time. After checking in at front desk, I sat around at the lobby for no more than several minutes until the nurse called me into her station to conduct her initial vitals check. From that point on, it must have been another couple minutes until Dr Renslow saw me for my annual check up. After my check up, I went to get bloodwork done. The wait was approximately 20 minutes. Usually faster. Once I got into the lab station, it must have taken a couple minutes until I was done with my day at Kaiser Permanente. And, a good day it was. It’s been a little over a year since I last visited this hospital. A lot has happened, primarily with its infrastructure. I can’t wait to see the new look. So far, I’m liking it. Staff at Kaiser in Bonita (Dr Renslows office, pharmacy, lab, radiology) are professionals, friendly, and efficient. I’ve been a Kaiser member for almost a decade. I chose this hospital since I use to live nearby, literally, down the street. Plus, I like the fact that I can’t get lost at this hospital because its much smaller size. I have moved and live about 8 miles away. I’m ok with the drive. Kaiser in Bonita location is still my first choice. Like: small size hospital that meets all my medical needs Recommend 👍🏼
Honestly, I've experienced 2 doctors out of like 20 that genuinely care. Every other experience, they talked to you like you're less than, like you don't know, and they dont care to get the full story. I realized maybe it's a difference in culture... certain people probably just raised without empathy or showing emotions... and just focus on surface level problems. Book smart but not people smart, you HAVE TO fight for yourself because you will get dismissed. I have had elevated WBC for 3 years and elevated labs for past 1 year but because they cant find a cause they say it's just stress despite my daily life being affected due to how tired I am.... this place has made me give up trying to figure out what is going on with me
The personal in the nurses clinic and front desk displaced a very professional attitude. Their manners and approach were with care and respect. Their overall service was outstanding.
Melissa at the laboratory threw away a full vial of my screaming, anemic 3 week’s old blood after I asked a question. She was too busy moving her hair out of her face to catch his blood. There ended up being 3 balls of gauze soaked in his blood, there was blood on his pants and blanket, and it still took 15 minutes to fill up one vial of blood. I asked which ones she had finished since there were 4 vials total, and I asked if we could focus on the most important (Bili) and leave the other ones for another time as my child was obviously distressed and she was doing a horrible job at catching his blood. She threw away the vial of blood she had just finished and I asked why she did that. She proceeded to tell me I should have been more specific. We asked if she understood why we were upset and she said it was only a little bit of blood. My child is anemic…. She was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful and the front desk was unable to provide a grievance form or provide much help other than to tell me to call member services. I am disgusted by Melissa’s actions.
