Sign in to reviewPlace looks nicer than some of the other restaurants in the area with booth/ chair seating. One of the staff members does speak English. I do like that they provided plenty of vegetables and interestingly they gave us some different veggies for our different entrees. Rare steak pho- the meat was thinly sliced and was tasty. Bun Nam- first time trying this fish broth soup. I would've liked it with more of a fermented taste, more seafood and less onions.
We really enjoyed the food here. We went at lunchtime and it was very laid back. The food is pretty authentic and very affordable. We the bun bo hue and chao with duck salad, as well as spring rolls. The duck was cooked really well!
If you’re looking for a hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese restaurant that feels like home, this is the spot. I ordered Vietnamese Coffee, Bun Bo Hue, and spring rolls. The staff were super nice and the food came out great.
Small mom pop shop was deceiving front the outside. Food was so delicious we will definitely come here again. Everything was excellent. Ordered rare steak pho, house special pho, 2 orders of beef spring rolls, beef porridge and Thai iced tea. None was disappointing. Would recommend this place for their authentic pho and Vietnamese food. The staff was friendly and smiling. Shocked and amazed how great the food was. This was better than pho places in San Diego. Price was not bad how great the food is.
Our regular pho spot was closed, so we decided to stop by here because it was right across the parking lot. Great decision. Food was very tasty, and service was great as well. The tea served to us was very refreshing. It had chrysanthemum in it, and was a little sweet, and very good.
