About

Kia's Auto Repair is listed on FindALoco in Tampa, FL with address, phone, hours, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Auto Repair Shop.

Kia's Auto Repair is an auto repair shop at 1105 E 93rd Ave in Tampa, Florida. For local drivers looking for vehicle service in Tampa, the shop is a neighborhood option with customer feedback describing both prompt help with car issues and ongoing maintenance visits. The listed hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; the shop is closed Sunday. Checking the hours before visiting can help you plan a weekday or Saturday stop.

Customer reviews mention a range of work and service needs, including a major tune-up, oil changes, tire rotation, transmission-fluid service, and attention to a slow tire leak. These are examples customers described, not a complete service menu, so drivers should contact Kia's Auto Repair to confirm whether a particular repair or maintenance task is available. One reviewer appreciated receiving help with several car issues quickly and getting back on the road. Another described returning over many years and valued careful attention to vehicle details.

Cost is another theme in the feedback. One customer compared a major tune-up quote at Kia's with a Lexus dealership estimate and reported paying about half as much, while noting that tire rotation and an oil change were not included in the comparison. That account reflects one customer's experience rather than a guarantee of savings. For a useful comparison, ask what a quote includes, whether parts and labor are covered, and what work is recommended before authorizing service. Clear questions can make it easier to understand the scope and expected cost.

Reviews are not uniformly positive, and that context matters when choosing a repair shop. A customer reported a recurring concern after transmission-fluid service and expressed dissatisfaction with the follow-up explanation and charge. Other reviewers describe good service, lower costs, quick assistance, and attention to detail. Kia's Auto Repair has a listed rating of 4.7 from 55 reviews, but individual experiences vary. Drivers can use recent feedback as one point of reference and discuss any prior repair, symptoms, or estimate directly with the shop before deciding how to proceed.

Located in Tampa's 33612 area, Kia's Auto Repair may suit drivers seeking a local place to ask about routine maintenance or a vehicle problem, including people who value direct conversations about recommended work and pricing. The Saturday hours may be useful for customers who cannot visit during the workweek. Bring a clear description of the issue and any relevant service history, and confirm availability, timing, and costs in advance. Whether you are comparing estimates or looking for help with a car concern, the shop's address, posted hours, and varied customer feedback offer practical starting points for making an informed local choice.

I paid half the cost of a major tuneup at this shop comparing to the Lexus dealership quoted excluding the tires rotation and an oil changes. I became suspicious at the Lexus dealership service dept. in late December 2022 after I brought my car there for an oil changes. I was told that my vehicle needed a major tuneup at 82k miles. I was so confused because my 2017 Lexus RX 350 was running fine and will not needs a tuneup until 90k. However, the Lexus service dept. representative insisted that the vehicle needs the work done. I refused the work request because I was scheduled to be out of town later in the afternoon and I will be our of town for the next two months. I got back a week ago and decided to bring the car to this shop as recommended by a friend. One thing I noticed right away was the price. It cost a fraction of what the dealership would have charged me. When the Kia ‘s technician about to replace the spark plugs, he told me that my car is still good for at least another year or so. Since he already took the engine apart, I told him to complete the tuneup anyway. Back in December, I was threaten by the Lexus dealership representative that I might lose the “ lifetime-free oil changes” privilege when I bought the car at this dealership If I continue to refuse the recommended service from them. Also, I bought tires from Costco that comes with free rotation. Why should I pay for the tires Rotation? It wasn’t about the pricing, I don’t mind paying but if you are like me, who are unsure about a recommend service that you feel unreasonable, you might want to try this shop for a second opinions. I got the Lexus back on the same day and feeling great that I have found a place to repair my car that I can trust. Highly recommend this shop!

I have been taking my vehicles to Kia now for many years now. His attention to details is above and beyond. For instance, I recently took my '99 Pathfinder to him for an oil change. I asked that he look for a slow leak in a rear tire for …
