The heart of the menu revolves around comforting noodle soups and traditional staples prepared quickly and efficiently. One of the standout favorites among regular patrons is the bún bò Huế, known for its hearty portions of tender meats paired with a broth that leans pleasantly light, clean, and aromatic rather than overwhelming in spice. A distinctive touch appreciated by noodle connoisseurs is the fresh vegetable accompaniment, often featuring crisp shredded banana blossoms, fragrant Thai basil, and crisp greens that elevate every bowl. In addition to spicy beef noodle soup, the kitchen serves a well-loved phở đặc biệt featuring a rich yet refined beef broth with deep nuances, comforting bowls of chicken phở and meatball phở, as well as classic chicken rice plates that make satisfying daily meals.

Pricing remains notably reasonable, offering solid value for hearty portions. While the setup is simple and seating can feel tight during peak dining hours, the ownership maintains a candid and transparent communication style with patrons, readily keeping guests informed about kitchen schedules and availability near closing time.

Whether you are seeking a soothing bowl of phở to unwind after a busy workday or an authentic bowl of bún bò Huế loaded with fresh herbs, this Falls Church gem provides a convenient dining option throughout the week. The restaurant welcomes diners from Monday through Wednesday and over the weekend from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with slightly earlier closing at 7:00 PM on Thursdays, while remaining closed on Fridays. The fresh banana blossom, Thai basil, and herbs make such a difference—the veggies are always crisp and refreshing. The flavor is more on the Saigon style side, which makes it lighter and easier for me to enjoy 😄 When we arrived around 7:35 PM, the owner was very clear and honest, letting us know they close at 8:00 PM. I really appreciate that kind of transparency with customers. Overall, I like both the food and the service here—simple, fresh, and genuine

The restaurant is quite small, and it feels cramped and uncomfortable to dine in. The staff didn’t seem very friendly or welcoming. One thing that really bothered me was the sauce. Since I was still eating, I don’t understand why they don’t provide enough sauce containers for each table. Before I had even finished my meal, they took the sauce from my table and gave it to a newly seated table, which I thought was very unprofessional and inconsiderate. After I finished eating and went to pay, a man with tattoos on his arm, who I believe is the owner, directly asked me if I was going to leave a tip. I was honestly shocked and uncomfortable. Tipping is the customer’s choice, so I don’t understand why the owner would ask me that directly. Why not simply give me the bill and let me decide whether and how much I wanted to tip instead of asking me out loud? Lastly, the food was not good at all. It was very bland and lacked flavor. Overall, I’m giving this restaurant 1 star. The owner really needs to reconsider their attitude toward customers and improve the overall dining experience.

English review with emoji: I came here a few times to eat 🍜 pho dac biet and chicken rice 🍗 — both are pretty good! The food comes out fast ⏱️ and the prices are very reasonable 💵. Service is just okay, nothing special but not bad either 😊. Overall, Kiên Giang Quán is a nice spot to grab a quick Vietnamese meal in Eden Center 👍.

I always crave a Bun Bo Hue, and this one was the best I’ve ever had. The broth was flawless, noodles perfect and so very much meat inside! We also had the meatballs pho and the chicken pho, which were both amazing. The place is inside the …

Bun Bo hue was on the lighter side. Still very good. BBH was not spicy. I like mine a bit more flavorful but still come is still good. My friend ordered the pho dac biet and has a light but deep beef flavor. Edit: went back 2nd time and bun Bo hue and pho dac biet deserve a 5 stars now. Would def come back and eat.
