Kob's Kitchen was a true hidden gem. We have traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia, and this was honestly the best Lao food we've had anywhere outside of Asia. Every dish was packed with incredible flavor, and you could tell everything was made with care and authentic recipes. The balance of spices, fresh ingredients, and bold flavors was outstanding. Every bite reminded us why we fell in love with Lao cuisine in the first place. If you're looking for authentic, delicious food, this is the place to go. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the area and can't recommend Kob's Kitchen highly enough.
Ordered Pad Thai from Kobs, our second time today. Warning : Don’t order this chicken pad Thai there anymore. We came back since the first was fine. This time , could hardly recognize if there’s chicken at all. Hardly see chicken at all. Ah, yes. Those very tiny tough little pieces in a very scanty amount. Added those little squared pieces of ( see photos) maroon and cream colored something. . Couldn’t recognize if it’s tough tofu soaked in colored water. Additionally , it’s salty and dry , noodles are tough. It’s very unappetizing. Waste of $ . Wouldn’t recommend this and won’t come back.
Little gem hidden in the parking lot of Napa Valley Casino. This food truck has Excellent friendly service and amazingly good Thai food. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Thai food. This place is busy with many regulars coming and going. A local favorite of many, and I can see why.
I just recently heard about this place and came highly recommended. I tried there fried pork with jasmine rice and it was delicious! The pork was well seasoned and marinated and the green hot sauce that they put on a side was very spicy and flavorful. The portion size was on point. I'm definitely going to recommend this place to friends and coworkers!
