What great ice cream! We came to Portland for the weekend and had ice cream at 50 licks, salt and straw, cheese and crack, and here (Kulfi) and Kulfi delivered the most unique amazing flavors. It’s fun seeing the owners in there scooping ice cream for customers and getting nearby about their story from a cart now to having a great location. If you come to Portland and love ice cream don’t leave town until you try kulfi! We had golden milk, black sesame Oreo, strawberries & malai, and coconut cashew cardamom. Very fun environment, kind employees, and great outdoor seating! We found parking not too far down the road for free on a Sunday afternoon!
Genuinely some of the best ice cream I’ve had! Every flavor we tried tonight was really good but the black sesame Oreo and ube were definitely standouts! — Black sesame oreo: rich and tastes exactly how you’d expect it to — ube: strong, creamy — lychee rose: strong on the lychee and the rose grows over time — passionfruit: tart, tangy — mango: sweet, also creamy Can’t wait to come back and try other flavors! Recommend doing the flight for $15.50 (equiv. to 4 kids scoops) 9.5/10
Forgot to take the ice cream picture in the beginning.Hence the half eaten pic :D We tried the ube and saffron Pistachios ice cream. I wouldn't say they are "kulfi". They were more like Gelato but good. They tasted well. If you want real Indian kulfi, choose the kulfi bars to experience the actual kulfi flavor. Overall, its a nice place, friendly staffs and yummy dessert. I would visit again to try the kulfi bars.
Kulfi Ice Cream is not your typical ice cream stop. The flavors are bold, creative, and feel like someone actually had fun putting the menu together. I got the Vietnamese almond mocha and Omyfkgawd… I’m still thinking about it. Rich, …
Portland did not disappoint with their ice cream shops selections. We were looking for dessert after lunch. We found this place. I ordered Ube, but I did try other flavors. It was creamy and ton of Ube flavor. My brother likes his coffee flavor ice cream. My nephew got a scoop of ice cream and a cookie n cream bar. The cookie n cream bar has a whole Oreo cookie embedded into the ice cream. Service was friendly. There are few tables inside. Street parking.
