Sign in to reviewWe went to KV Noodle while we were in town visiting friends. We wanted to treat them to dinner, and they wanted soup, so Pho felt like a good option. We used to live in the neighborhood, but never managed to make it to KV Noodle. First, they only have a few vegetarian options -- just the stir fry and the fried rice. That said, the staff were very friendly and pointed out the vegetarian options they could make us. We ordered the stir fry with tofu. It was delicious. I didn't have high expectations, but it was great. It was spiced well, the tofu and veggies were nice and smoky (very unique!). I also loved the broken rice it came with. Our carnivore friends loved the soups as well. Would 100% recommend!
Went on a rainy day. I was the only one there for awhile, then 2 more tables came in. They were a little rushy, didn't understand some things I was asking. Went for a banh mi but they didn't have it. I ordered pho and spring rolls. Both were good. Pho order was messed up but they kindly accommodated. Everything was placed out for your convenience ( to-go things, forks, etc).
Found this restaurant when we are looking for a place for lunch. It is vietnamese restaurant which serves chinese/ Vietnamese dishes. They also has open bar. It was not busy when we arrived. The menu has plenty dishes. We ordered combination yellow noodle, half rice and half yellow noodle combination and pho. For drink we ordered salty plum which is plum and soda. The yellow noodle combination is similar to chinese egg noodle dishes. It is a bit sweet for me. The pho is ok.
A Gem for Food, Work, and Fun: KV Noodle!KV Noodle has quickly become my go-to spot, and for all the right reasons! If you're looking for a place with a fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and incredibly accommodating amenities, look no further. My partner and I stopped by late on a Wednesday night, and despite the hour, the place was vibrant and welcoming. The fact that they're open late is a huge plus, making it perfect for a spontaneous dinner or a late-night craving. It was much appreciated that they didn't rush us out even though we were there until closing. The first thing that struck me was the awesome atmosphere. They have big TVs prominently displaying games, which immediately creates a fun and lively vibe. What truly sets this place apart, though, is how ideal it is for those who need a change of scenery for work. The bar area is equipped with outlets, and they generously share their Wi-Fi. This makes KV Noodle an absolutely fantastic "work from home" alternative – you get a productive environment coupled with great food and service. Speaking of service, it was impeccable! Our server was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the food! We started with the Combination Rice Noodle Dry, which came with a delicious soup on the side. It was incredibly tasty and perfectly light, making it a great shared appetizer. Since we were still a bit hungry, we also ordered the Beef Stew Rice Noodle. This dish was an absolute revelation – super filling, bursting with rich flavors, and utterly satisfying. Every dish was fresh and prepared to perfection so promptly! We left feeling completely content and already planning our next visit. KV Noodle truly hits all the marks: amazing food, excellent service, a lively atmosphere, and a comfortable spot to even get some work done. Highly recommend!
We had an awesome brunch today. I really like what they did with the menu. Some of our favorites are on there. Other Vietnamese restaurants might not have the crispy noodles or the dry style noodles. There was no wait at 11:30AM on a Sunday. If we were at our usual San Jose noodle restaurants, there would be at least a half an hour wait. We had the combination crispy yellow noodles $14, 2x combination dry yellow noodles (L) $14 each, pho $14, side of beef rib $5, calamari $15 and onion rings $7. Everything tasted great and authentic. The portion sizes were adequate. There are certainly bigger bowls of noodles at other SJ establishments though. The food came out fast as there were only two other parties dining. This was a bonus because we were hungry from that half an hour drive from San Francisco. Great job chef and wait staff.
