La Belle Summerhill Nail Bar

First let me start off by saying, I love the atmosphere at this nail salon the people are friendly and I’ve been goin here for almost a year now this is the first time I’ve had a complaint. It has only been a week and the Acrylic is breaking the person that does my nails usually does a really great job so I won’t put their name in this post but this is ridiculous and this should not be happening, the acrylic was done really thin which is now causing it to break. My fill-ins usually last about 3-4 weeks. I have been trying to call but haven’t been able to get through on the phone line. I am very disappointed with this set.

I called right before they opened to see if they could squeeze in a gel mani/pedi and they were very accommodating. My entire service took me one hour, which is amazing. Amy and Bao were detailed and efficient. Great service and very clean salon. I will definitely be back.

I went on a Saturday around 4:30 pm. Upon entering I asked for a gel pedicure as well as French manicure. I was told it was going to be a 30 minute wait but I was fine waiting. After about 35 minutes someone started on my pedicure. Which the pedicure overall was great. I gave 3 stars because the girls upfront forgot I also wanted a manicure and we (my pedicure guy and I) had to tell them 3 times. He even noticed how other people were being serviced and they walked in way after I did. So that was kinda of upsetting. Eventually when someone came to do my manicure I didn’t have enough time to do French so I had to tell her to just do a solid color and gel and skip the actual manicure part. The whole process just took extra long because I was either forgotten about or ignored. The nail salon looks nice and it seems like they do a good job. The girls upfront just need to organize better.

Update: 11/15/25 The manager (Kim) gave me a call and offered to make it right. BAO serviced me and gave me one of the best gel manis I’ve ever had. It’s been a week and my mani looks amazing. (See 3rd picture) This is definitely my new …

I come either every two weeks or once a month, and I have never left disappointed. The staff is always warm, patient, and detail-oriented. They take their time, listen to what you want, and make sure you leave feeling confident and taken care of. The environment is clean, relaxing, and never chaotic, which makes it the perfect escape from schoolwork and deadlines. I’m loyal to this shop because they consistently deliver great service, and it is conveniently close to my threading spot, so everything I need is right in the same area. If you’re a GSU student or someone looking for a dependable nail salon near Summerhill, I definitely recommend La Belle.
