La Nails & Hair is a beauty salon at 5796 Crowder Blvd in New Orleans, Louisiana (70127), serving customers looking for nail care and a convenient neighborhood salon. The business name reflects both nails and hair, while customer feedback most often describes manicures and pedicures. If you are planning a visit for a particular service, you can contact the salon directly to confirm availability and discuss what you have in mind. Its address makes it a local option for people in New Orleans, especially those seeking salon care along Crowder Boulevard.

Pedicures are a recurring part of customers’ experiences here. Reviewers describe visits for themselves and their children, and one parent appreciated that staff accommodated her five-year-old during a pedicure. Another customer praised the filing and attention to detail. These comments suggest that a visit may suit someone who values careful nail shaping and wants to bring a child along, though individual experiences can differ. For a more comfortable appointment, explain your preferences clearly, including the nail length and filing technique you want.

Customers also call out individual team members. Reviews mention Titi, Helen, and Lynn by name, with praise for kindness, consideration, a joyful manner, and listening to what a customer requests. One reviewer with natural nails specifically appreciated Helen’s use of a fine file, noting that a coarse file can cause chipping. Other feedback describes a very positive visit and an intention to return. These personal accounts offer useful context if you are choosing a salon based on attentive communication, while not guaranteeing that every appointment will be the same.

Feedback is mixed overall: La Nails & Hair has a 3.8-star rating from 148 reviews. Some customers describe professional service and satisfying results, while another longtime visitor reported recent disappointment with pedicure details, including nail length, even after selecting a higher-priced option. That range of experiences is worth keeping in mind. Before service begins, you can share the finish you want, ask which service best fits your needs, and speak up if something needs adjustment. Clear communication can help make expectations understood.

The salon is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5:00 p.m. These hours give New Orleans customers weekday, Saturday, and Sunday options for planning a visit. Whether you are considering a pedicure, want to discuss nail care, or are looking for a salon associated with both nails and hair, La Nails & Hair is located at 5796 Crowder Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70127. Check directly with the business for current service details before making plans.

I loved this nail salon and went regularly for years until I moved away. Since I moved home, I've gone three times in one month and have left disappointed each time. I've purchased pedicures at the higher price points in hopes for a higher quality service but my toenails are still too long, aren't shaped and I still have calluses when I leave. In addition, my latest polish is bubbled and bumpy. It's like no matter the pedicure you purchase, they are set to get you out in an hour or less and will cut corners on the quality of the cut and polishing of your nails while selling products that aren't needed. I got a leg mask as part of a pedicure but my feet still had calluses. The priorities seem off. Update: I didn't write my review for a reply, least of all a disingenuous apology. Wanting trimmed, shaped nails, smooth soles and smooth, even polish after paying for a PEDICURE is not asking anyone to be "perfect". Crazy to think that I gave three opportunities, paid in full with tips, to give a quality service before writing my review for an apology that implies that me ordering a basic pedicure service that you offer was akin to asking you to do the impossible. If your employees can't do pedicures well then stop offering it but don't imply that customers should lower their standards because you've lowered yours. I don't need perfection, I needed the service I paid for.

Excellent service. My daughter and I got pedicures. They did good file work and paid attention to detail. My daughter is 5, the were every accommodating to her. The place is under new management it was La nails but now it is more luxe. We will revisit.

Helen is very nice and considerate of her clients and what they ask for. For example I have natural nails and only like my nails filed with a “fine” nail file because the course file causes chipping. She did a great job
