Sign in to reviewMy friend recommended Lamay after I asked where she gets her nails done because hers are always so cute, and this place absolutely did not disappoint. These might honestly be the best nails I’ve ever gotten! Eve is incredibly talented and has such an eye for creating that effortless cool-girl look. I’m completely obsessed with how my nails turned out. Beyond her amazing work, she’s also one of the sweetest people and made the entire experience so enjoyable. Eve has definitely won me over as a customer, and I’ll absolutely be coming back to see her again. If you’re looking for beautiful nails and an artist who truly cares about her craft, I can’t recommend her enough!
I’m sorry I’m highly disappointed in my nails. Paying over $100, taking 3 hours so just for clunky, un even French nails. I don’t do crazy design I just ask for precision. Maybe if was my nail tech but I’m good.
Both Anuka and Alina did such an excellent job on my nails! The service was polite and quick. I will definitely be returning! Thank you so much!
I had a really great experience here! The salon is very clean, comfortable, and has such a nice environment. Caresse did my pedicure, and she was very gentle and detailed. The color turned out so pretty, it looks like a soft pearl finish. The whole experience was relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommend!
So I had an appointment today at 10:15 AM, immediately I was seated for my pedicure, so my pedicure was fine. The man who did it was very friendly. He was very efficient and quick. My major problem with this nail salon was the gel X application and service in a whole.. The first nail tech that started my nails told me that she couldn’t do the design that I asked for and that was fine so another nail tech was supposed to finish after she shaped my nails. The next lady comes over and she starts doing my nails at this moment. I showed that new nail tech, the design for my nails she saw the design and she had ample time to tell me hey, I cannot do this design. Is there anything else you might wanna get or do you wanna just come back later or wait for another nail tech who can do it for you. I sit down in her chair and she gets started. She started and I’m noticing it’s taking her a very long time. I’ve got my nails done plenty of times, it shouldn’t take this long to get nails done. I’m expecting her to start doing the striped part of the French nail that I requested, she takes so long starting the first stripe of one of the nails and I was just wondering like what’s the problem. She then talks to another man and she shows him the design and they start speaking in their native language. She tells me that it’s a sticker design for my nails and that she can’t do the design herself. I’m not mad if she couldn’t do the design I’m mad that she wasted so much of my time to play in my face she could’ve immediately said hey girl, I can’t do these nails for you. Is there anything else you want or maybe someone else can do them for you but I can’t do them for you. And that’s not even a major thing I don’t know if it was the first nail tech who did it or was it the second nail tech but one of them had shaped one of my nails into a stiletto shape, when all my nails are square and I actually I had to ask her if she could replace the nail because that’s not what I asked for. So back to the design of the nail I just can’t understand why this lady wasted so much of my time I was in this nail studio from 10:10 AM to about 3:06 PM that’s almost 5 hours. I’ve been to the same nail studio but the location in downtown LA and they were literally doing my gel extensions while I was getting a pedicure at the same time and I was out there so fast. You cannot have nail techs who can’t do nail art and if you have no nail tech that can do that then you need to be open and honest about that and stop wasting peoples time. I don’t have five hours to waste sitting in a chair with a lady who couldn’t just say hey I can’t do this design for you. Mine the nails took 4 hours to do!! another thing your prices are so insane to me for the quality of service these nails I have they look ridiculous like it looks like I did them myself and I don’t understand why your base price for gel x is $75 and you charged me $60 additionally for this nail art that’s crazy. You don’t have the skill in the building to be charging these prices. No compensation for my time. No I’m so sorry from the receptionist or anybody there or even the owner. The nail tech was apologetic, but that’s not enough for me.
