For people seeking help with real-world legal barriers, customer feedback connected with this San Jose, CA organization most clearly mentions housing concerns, eviction situations, disability-related challenges, and filing documents in court. The listing provides a specific address and regular hours for planning, rather than a vague service-area description.
Several reviews describe meaningful assistance when housing was at risk. One customer credits the team with helping them remain in their apartment after an eviction threat, while another says this was the only realistic help they found for an eviction and personal disabilities. A separate reviewer says the foundation's help made it possible to file court documents and recognizes a staff member for a responsible, kind approach. These are individual customer experiences rather than a guarantee of an outcome, but they offer useful context for someone researching nonprofit legal-related support in San Jose for their own circumstances and questions.
The atmosphere suggested by the positive feedback is compassionate and people-focused, particularly when someone is under pressure from an eviction or court process. Reviews praise kindness, accessibility, and knowledge of codes and general law. One reviewer mentions John and his team, while another specifically thanks Claudia Uribe for taking a responsible and considerate approach. The review record is also mixed: other customers report frustration about communication, a perceived focus on settlement, and case closure. Reading both perspectives is important when deciding whether the organization fits a particular need. The contrast also underscores the value of setting expectations early and keeping personal records of questions, documents, and requested follow-up.
With a 3.7 rating from 10 reviews in the provided data, Law Foundation of Silicon Valley has a review profile with both appreciative and critical perspectives. It may be most relevant to San Jose residents whose search involves eviction, housing stability, disability-related circumstances, or assistance with court paperwork. Its weekday hours can be useful for planning a daytime visit to the San Jose address, while the organization is closed Saturday and Sunday. Before relying on any service, people can ask the organization directly about its current scope, process, and communication practices so they can make an informed choice for their situation.

Sign in to reviewProceed with caution. Their main goal is to get you to settle to avoid fighting for you in court. Communication is absolutely awful, you've got to basically beg for a call or email back from your representatives. Once they do get you to settle they ghost you and close your case. Proceed with caution.
I don't know what to say about the law foundation of silicon valley.words can not express how great I was treated there.they did everything to help me stay in my apt after I was threatened with an eviction for hanging out in my garage. John and his team are a God send.
This firm is the only help I've found for realistic dealing with eviction, and personal disabilities. Very kind, fairly accessable, and knowledgeable of codes, and general law. Thanks so much
Thanks to this foundation for your help. Without you, I would not have been able to file documents in court. I would like to especially thank Claudia Uribe for her responsible approach and kindness to us, she is a true professional. To find out the details of the claim, she was not lazy and went to court and found out everything. God bless you Claudia Uribe.
Do not deal with them, they'd rather tuck their tails between their legs than fight for you!!!!!!
