Sign in to reviewLena did a wonderful job with my case. She’s sharp, responsive, and knows how to get straight to the point without wasting your time (or money). I always felt like she had a clear strategy and wasn’t just going through the motions. She also explained things in a way that actually made sense, which I appreciated more than anything. If you want someone who’s both practical and genuinely on your side, I’d recommend her without hesitation.
I spoke with a few attorneys before hiring, and I actually appreciated Ms. Nguyen’s consultation the most. She was very clear that the free 15-minute consult is to confirm the type of case and explain fees and not to give legal advice. I respected that. Other attorneys I contacted charged for the exact same information she provided for free. Once I retained her, she was professional, responsive, and very straightforward about expectations. Legal matters take time, and not everything moves instantly, but I always felt informed and well represented. If you’re looking for someone who is clear, efficient, and doesn’t waste your time (or money), she is a solid choice.
I’m really glad I hired Lena. She was honest from the start, explained everything clearly, and never made promises she couldn’t keep. She’s very sharp, extremely prepared, and always stayed calm even when things got stressful. What I appreciated most was that there were no surprises. She was upfront about costs and expectations, and I always knew what was going on with my case. I felt taken seriously and well represented the entire time. Divorce is not easy, but having a lawyer like Lena made it much more manageable. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a strong Texas divorce attorney.
My initial consultation with Ms. Nguyen was in June 2025. I was excited about her energy, which matched her Instagram posts. She gave me a game plan of what to expect during the process, every thing seemed clear, so I decided to retain her counsel. A week went by before I received the official documents to retain her services, which I had to send a reminder. This made me apprehensive to move forward, but I did anyway. I was supposed to received additional paperwork to complete before our next call, but did not receive them until the day of. I waited for several days and had to arrive late to work to complete them and ensure she had them before our call. Again, we're not off to a good start. Moving forward to September/October (I'm leaving out a lot of unfavorable details in between, but felt this was the pivotal moment in my case) the opposing counsel sent her an agreement which would have resolved my case. A week went by before responded (I have documents to support this). After 4 weeks went by, I sent Ms. Nguyen a follow up email asking the status of the case/agreement (which is something I should not have had to do, AND was charged), her response was that the opposing counsel said she never responded to their email. She in fact did responded, it was a week later. Why wouldn't she follow up after 4 weeks of not hearing from the opposing counsel? Why should I, the client, have to prompt her to respond? Then she came back with several options of what "we" could do. I'm not an attorney, and I'm trusting her to help make the best decision now that the ball had been dropped. I kept at for another month or so, spent money unnecessarily, before I finally decided to retain new counsel, who was able to complete my case in 10 weeks over the holidays. I also want to mention, 95% of my correspondence with Ms. Nguyen was via email. This may work for some, but compared to my new counsel, this made all the difference in resolving my case timely. I had to ask for invoices to make sure her minimum retainer was met (then charged for those emails!). In conclusion, Ms. Nguyen, has a great social media presence, but she needs to scale her firm to give the proper attention to each client. My rating of 2 stars is simply for dropping the ball and which lead to unnecessary costs and delays in resolving my case. She projected and scheduled a trial date in mid-April and requested a 5 figure retainer, when my case should have been resolved shortly after the agreement was sent to her in September. My case was finalized on March 3. Given my experience, I cannot recommend Ms. Nguyen's firm.
Felt like there was no willingness to understand the complexity of my case, which is essential to build client trust before you decide to hire them. During “consultation “ When I tried to provide just the relevant details, she interrupted me and said she “didn’t care”. Tone. Delivery, attitude and words used just soooo unprofessional. Could’ve been handle differently. Just rude and arrogant. The “consultation” was misleading. It was only about confirming the practice area and quoting a fee, something I could already find online. THAT’s IT! mmm Do you have experience ? How may years ? Do you understand the most relevant details of my case? Can you help me ? No sense of that at all! An attorney should at least listen just enough to inspire confidence they understand your case and are capable of representing you, not only for you as a client but also for them as professionals. You don’t just want to take any case. The ones that do that are for one reason only $just treat you like another number or payment. I want a lawyer who is passionate about what they do and genuinely care about their clients and want to help and represent to the best of their ability! I would never hire an attorney just because they practice that area of Law and that’s it. In that case maybe Charge the consultation and get to know the information your potential clients need to disclose, provide valid information to the client so we can assess if you are the best fit for our case. Providing a “ free 15 minutes consultation “ just to determine if that’s the area of law you practice or the price rate, that can be something the customer finds online In your website.
