I was referred to Travis and his team by a coworker after previously working with another attorney where things just didn’t feel right. From the moment I contacted the office, Olga, the administrative assistant, was so welcoming and kind over the phone that it immediately put me at ease. Divorce is hard enough as it is, and it’s incredibly important to feel protected during the process. Travis and his team did exactly that—and more. Their expertise and over 30 years of experience truly made a difference, and I honestly wish I had found them from the very beginning. I am currently helping my uncle with his divorce since my uncle does not speak English. He is a native Vietnamese speaker. His divorce started at the beginning of the Shelter In Place Order. I called Travis for my uncle and he arranged for us to meet on a Sunday. During the meetings, my uncle would explain everything to me, and I would translate it to Travis. Travis was very patient and asked many questions to best understand the situation and form the plan to move forward. Travis was able to file some initial motions to get some of the important pieces of the case resolved. Even though the court was only seeing limited cases, Travis was able to get my uncle seen and complete a stipulation and order with the court. Travis did a fantastic job negotiating several key elements of the stipulation with his ex’s lawyer. While the case is still ongoing and there’s been plenty of bumps in the road, Travis was able to calm things down until the next court date set for later this year, after the courts open back up. Throughout the case so far, Travis has always been available to us. He has met with us on many weekends and has been available via phone, email and text as well. We prefer email to keep a record of what happens throughout the case, but he always makes sure to provide the best instructions for my uncle to follow. The best part of Travis’ practice is how well they respond to questions and filings.

I am so thankful for Travis and his team. After working with 2 previous lawyers, he was able to finally bring my divorce case to a close. My ex-wife was very devious and made the divorce very challenging. She tried at every turn to take our assets or hide them from the mandatory reporting. Travis engaged a forensic accountant to investigate and track down all the things she tried to hide from the court. Not only was this presented to court, my ex also had to pay additional fines and the fees associated with the investigation. I was so lucky to have found Travis. He took on a challenging case with a combative opposing party. His rapport with the other side was firm and fair. He empathized with opposing counsel’s difficulties and did a great job in court. Like other reviewers, same story Travis and his firm will say anything to get you to give them a retainer. Buyer beware as soon as your money is in his account everything changes! I hired him to finalize my divorce which was already pre-negotiated and done. He added zero value, there were instances where I knew more than him! His process was completely disorganized and it felt like the blind leading the blind, which created huge new problems forcing me to find someone else in 1 day! I since learned he has a bad reputation amongst many of his colleagues who and nonewere surprised by my experience. His arrogant and dismissive demeanor leaves clients high and dry with no option except to file a complaint with the state bar and take him to fee arbitration. Ive noticed in the last 5 days he's earned himself 2 more one star reviews which I doubt he's even aware of nor even cares. The smart family law attorney's out there have learned that their number one source of business is online digital marketing which is costly and effective but many had to reinvent their business practices to maintain a positive online presence. Travis hasn't figured this out yet and torches himself by continuing to do business the "old way". Its 2023 well into the digital age where customers have the ability to post public reviews across multiple sites. Be diligent, dont rush like I did, look at his competitors reviews select someone that "gets it" with 5 stars and allot of reviews. Help let these unscrupulous lawyers know times are changing and they need to change too. You've been warned! I hope this helps somebody
