My family has been a client of Lily's for many years, and she has always provided us service with patience and professionalism. She was sympathetic towards our case and represented us with diligence. Would highly recommend as a family lawyer.

During a really difficult time my family, particularly my parents, were going through, Lily was hired on to be part of my parents' legal team and she was very helpful in being my parent's go-to person. Some context: my parents speak very little English, and almost zero legalese, and so having someone on team that can speak Cantonese was tremendous for my parents. Not only that, she went beyond and help put my parents' mind at ease by just talking to them. The legal world can be cold and scary with tons and tons of papers and documents to drown in--without Lily, my parents would have given up a long time ago. I don't know of many lawyers that speak both Cantonese and English, but bridging the language gap proved to be very helpful. I can't say enough of the work that Lily has put in for us, which is why I was so surprised to see some poor ratings being given to her. Having worked with her for several months, I can confidently say that those earlier reviews are uncharacteristic of who she is and how she works. Good lawyers are hard to find; lawyers that keep you sane throughout the mess of ligation is priceless. Having said that, I hate the legal world. I hope to never have anything to do with the court of law. But if I happen to need a lawyer, Lily is the person I would call.

I have had a great experience with Lily on family law. She is very responsive and really caring. She is knowledgeable and patient for legal separation. I think it is very important to have a responsive attorney when you are in the chaos of divorce and you have a caring attorney who is supporting you at stressful moments rather than just ignoring you.

Lily Huang is short of law knowledge. All she wants is your money. Don't be foolish by the review or her website. THAT IS NOT TRUE. During my consultation with her, she could not answer my question, and even be uncertain the law rule. She turned to ask another attorney to join in. Eventually she convinced me to retain, providing two attorney's service in one charge. Don't be happy about it; that's the nightmare start. She did not generate any constructive stuff. She will charge you by fraud billing, but nothing was generated. Very dishonest and not ethic and not professional at all. Stay away from her. Anyone else will be better than her.

After hiring her for a little bit more than 1 month, there was no progress at all. She charged me twice for the same service, and even worse, many billing items that did not actually happen. If not on vacation (many times), she is still responsive though. However, I am not the kind who hires a counseling psychologist. I am hiring her to solve problem, but the problem was still there and even got worse. Endless fighting with attorney on the other side.
