Customer feedback describes a menu that brings together Vietnamese options and approachable flavors, so the restaurant may suit both curious first-timers and people looking for a relaxed meal with friends or family. Its public rating is 4.3 from 278 reviews, offering one useful snapshot of diners’ experiences rather than a guarantee that every visit will be the same.

Reviews call out a varied selection, including bánh khọt, swordfish, and a lobster roll with ginger, scallion, and roe. Other diners mention Cajun crawfish noodles with salmon roe, while one guest praised a plate of ribs and mashed potatoes. These comments suggest that the menu includes more than one style of dish; they are examples shared by customers, not a complete or fixed menu. If a particular preparation or ingredient matters to you, checking with the restaurant before ordering is a sensible way to confirm what is available.

Dessert has its own following in customer comments. One reviewer singled out the avocado cheesecake as an unusual combination that worked well, and also spoke positively about the desserts overall. Guests describe the space as nice and the service as pleasant, making Lê Madeline a possible choice for a sit-down lunch or dinner, a meal with out-of-town visitors, or an occasion when your group has different levels of familiarity with Vietnamese food. Individual experiences vary: some reviews are enthusiastic, while others raise concerns about a dish’s seasoning or ingredients, so recent feedback can help set expectations.

First of all if the sun is out, do yourself a favor and decline sitting on any of the tables on the same side as the large windows facing Billings St. I was there on a chilly early afternoon but the sun nearly scorched me. The diners sitting next to me had already asked their waited to pull the shades down, but it could not be done because other customers on the same row were blocking the manual controls. This inconvenience could have been prevented if management had lowered the shades before the restaurant had opened. Nobody can enjoy having dinner inside a full blast furnace and having the sun hit one’s eyes. The menu offers a concise selection of well priced classic and innovative dishes. The staff the night I attended was perhaps a bit overeager ( I might have been asked more than eight times if everything was ok, which is eight times better than being ignored but it was a bit much). The second my finished entree was picked up another served made a beeline to my table carrying the check, always a big the servers want you out ASAP and a big turn off to any diner. The lychee delight mocktail was on itself a sugar overdose. The honey glazed pork belly in contrast could have used a bit more honey, as it tasted like it had not been seasoned. The crawfish noodles was pretty good but I wish I had not acceded to the fried egg on top, not included in the price and with the egg whites burnt to a crisp did not enhance the flavors of the garlic and pecorino seasoning one bit. The most balanced part of the meal was the coffee crème brûlée, just the right amount of sugar (in spite of being made with condensed milk) which offer a nice contrast to the mild coffee flavor. $85.00 including tip for one person, with no alcohol.

A great restaurant with delicious food. The space is nice and the service was very pleasant. The food was delicious, the ribs and mashed potatoes plate was mouthwatering. The desserts were great as well. The avocado cheesecake was an interesting combination of flavors in a very good way. They have a traditional cuisine menu in addition to a modern less traditional menu. Definitely recommended to enjoy a nice meal.

From out of town but we wanted to make a stop here after hearing good reviews. I think people who are new to Vietnamese cuisine would enjoy this, as the food incorporates elements that palatable to the unfamiliar. They have an authentic menu that I did not try however so I cannot judge that accurately. Everything I got was delicious and I would recommend them, as someone who eats Vietnamese food regularly their dishes are a nice elevated treat. I would definitely reserve a table during peak hours and it can get a bit loud in a small space but I love food.

It doesn’t feel good to be ripped off. We heard great things about this place and were really excited to try it. We ordered the cajun crawfish noodles with salmon roe and we got tobiko instead. Noodles were clumped up and some parts were unseasoned because of it. I know others were served with salmon roe before from the reviews. If you are out of ingredients, take it off the menu or let us know. Highly unprofessional. The summer roll was great. We also got pork chop rice but the rice was soggy. All in all not sure if it was worth the price and up to the bar of finer dining the place tries hard to present itself as. One of the waitress’s service felt insincere.
