Le Thai is a Thai restaurant on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, at 523 Fremont St. It is a handy choice for visitors and locals looking for Thai food away from the Strip, with a lively setting and a menu that has earned a strong following. The restaurant holds a 4.7-star rating from 3,397 reviews, and diners often call out the food, friendly service, and energetic pace. Whether you are exploring downtown or meeting friends for a meal, Le Thai offers a welcoming place to settle in and try a range of Thai flavors.
Several dishes stand out in customer reviews. The short rib fried rice is repeatedly described as a must-try, while the 42-hour marinated Thai wings and larb salad are among the dishes guests have enjoyed. Reviews praise the food as flavorful and carefully prepared, with one visitor who had spent time in Thailand saying the meal reminded them of Thai food they had enjoyed there. These are useful starting points if you are deciding what to order, though the menu is broader than any one review can capture. A guest also appreciated staff guidance with recommendations, which can be helpful when you are choosing among unfamiliar dishes.
Le Thai is known for bringing plenty of heat, but the spice level is not one-size-fits-all: reviewers say dishes can be ordered mild, while those who enjoy serious spice can look for a much hotter experience. If you prefer less heat, ask about spice options when ordering. Feedback on the menu descriptions is mixed, so checking with the team about ingredients or how a dish is prepared may help make sure it matches what you have in mind. Some guests describe the service as quick and the room as lively and friendly, making the restaurant a good fit for an upbeat downtown meal rather than a quiet, drawn-out dinner.
The restaurant’s Fremont Street location makes it convenient for people spending time in the downtown area, and reviewers mention weekday happy hour as one way they have visited. Happy-hour availability and current details can change, so confirm directly before planning around it. Customers have also noted that the interior has been renovated and offers more seating than before. For a casual meal with friends, a flavorful stop while exploring Las Vegas, or a Thai dinner where diners can choose their preferred level of spice, Le Thai is a well-reviewed downtown option. Its combination of signature fried rice, marinated wings, larb salad, and a lively atmosphere gives guests several reasons to make it part of their Fremont Street plans.

Wanted a place off the Stripe to get a good bite to eat. Discovered this spot and were so glad we did. Caught Happy Hour on a weekday and ordered the 42 hr marinated Thai wings. Also wanted to try the highly recommended short rib friend rice And the larb salad. Everything was as good as the reviews promised. Worth the Uber ride and trying to figure out how to get back here one more time before we leave.
TOP two Thai restaurants in Las Vegas, all those great reviews are spot on! Quaint little place on Fremont with a big following, food was absolutely authentic, each dish crafted with a lot of love, we’ve spent a lot of time in Thailand - this place is a reminder of some of Thai’s best! The pork belly app was insanely good, papaya salad lovely, drunken noodles and Ga pow were scrumptious. Being so full we ordered mango sticky rice to go, it proved to be delicious. What a diamond in the rough, we will always return on our many downtown staycations, don’t hesitate!
Interesting location in downtown Las Vegas. Food came out very fast and was tasty overall but maybe too highly salted. The food probably needs better descriptions on the menu is what I thought I ordered didn't totally match but it tasted good anyway. The places lively and friendly and quick paced with a beautiful interior.
So good! The short rib fried rice is top tier and an absolute must. Huge shoutout to Brayan for walking us through the menu and giving us the best recommendations. He made the whole experience even better. Visiting from NYC so tough critics here but Le Thai is a must!
This location has been a hotspot for Years!! The interior has been totally renovated and there's more seating (and more roof). Le Thai has the highest quality food with the HEAT you desire. Yes, they serve food so spicy you will need to call the Fire Department! (You can get mild too. Scale of 1 to 5 when ordering). My favorites include the Crab Rangoons, Pad Thai with Tofu and the Green Curry with Chicken. Full bar and fancy Mocktails are available. The place is usually busy, so plan ahead. Easy to get to on Fremont Street. See you there soon!
