I normally love coming here for their matcha cloud matcha and am almost a daily regular customer, but this is the second time I have had an issue ordering when their young workers are here. They may need to be re trained on some of their drinks. Today my husband came in for my regular drink and I order it as it comes I never make adjustments, and they gave me a wierd matcha that had no flavor or mild sweetness that usually comes with it. I asked him to go back in and see if they can remake it because this was definitely not what I usually receive when (I believe) it may be the owner or manager is here. The matcha had milk settled at the bottom and matcha at the top and it was made completely with whole milk when the default milk should be oatmilk. extremely disappointing that some of the employees are not on the same page.
Leaf N Cream can be found in a popular strip mall off Newport Avenue near the 5 freeway. We stopped by for a dessert drink after dinner, so there was ample parking. The staff was friendly and they have a fairly extensive drink and acai bowl menu. I decided to try the Lychee Mango Peach Green Tea after I saw it on their Best Sellers list. I'm not sure if it was because I adjusted the sweetness down to 75%, but it didn't taste nearly as good as it sounded on the menu. The local boba landscape is competitive which is why I only awarded three stars. I'll have to come back another time and try another drink off their menu!
The Crème Brûlée Vietnamese Coffee was amazing. The Mr. Mango and Ms. Strawberry were also delicious and refreshing. Definitely coming back again.
