Food portions are HUGE, especially given the price. Everything was delicious. I will say, I got a level 2 spice on my pad see iw and it didn't taste spicy at all, and my brother got level 4 on his garlic pork and it was only moderately spicy, which is the only reason I removed a point on "food". Otherwise everything was delicious. The place is super cozy, and the waiter here with the glorious mustache, Jeremy, is very fun and quick and very attentive. Overall a great experience. Probably will order here again, though less orders since we had so much left over this time lol.

I typically stick to the same place every time I get Pad Thai because every time I’ve tried something new it’s never been as good but I will say this place was right up with my usual spot! As soon as I walked in I was greeted and the gentleman was even kind enough to offer to bring my food out to my car when it was ready. The portion was huge. Will definitely be back! I ordered Pad Thai & a Thai Coffee

My wife and I went to this restaurant for what was supposed to be a nice meal, after a quick trip to the area. The restaurant, which has 4.8 stars on its reviews, seemed like a good place to grab food, was not as expected. The restaurant was extremely dimly light with just cause, it hid the dirty floors and tables. I understand the ambiance factor, but it was hiding bugs in the lighting features. The wait staff were decent people, but off putting. As for the food, it was the part that set off the red flags the most, My wife had gotten the pad thai with prawns and i got the basil rice with prawns. When the food came out, it was extremely large portion, which is fine for the price. But the QUALITY was extremely poor and unhealthy. The pad thai with prawns had the most taste between the two meals, which is to say the least. It was covering up the amount of msg and lack of quality preparation for the food. The prawns were over cooked and seemed like they were frozen, not fresh! There was no actual taste of the pad thai eloquence that is usually in the sauce, not peanut flavor either. It all seemed covered up by fish sauce, which was another salt substitute for flavor. I like msg, but with quality vegetables, sauce and noodles. The basil rice with prawns was EXTREMELY DISGUSTING, I’m sorry but that is the only way to distinguish the taste from real food. The rice was old and overcooked, it had a very chemical taste to the prawns, which were overcooked and seemed frozen. Along with the vegetables, which also seemed frozen and undercooked. There was absolutely no basil taste, or any taste to this meal. There absolutely zero taste to this meal. My wife and I stopped eating our meals, because we felt both were very unhealthy meals because of the severe amount of chemical taste that we were consuming. For the amount you’re paying to this restaurant for the food you are getting. Quality should be number one. On our way home, we felt very nauseous and sick. Today we are not doing great, and feel like this place needs a check by the county.

Absolutely outstanding! Loak Toung Thai delivers on every level — excellent, friendly, and attentive service; a warm and welcoming ambiance; and truly delicious, flavorful dishes. Every plate was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The portions were generous, and the prices refreshingly reasonable. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back!

We got the Red curry, which was excellent. We also got the fried rice, and that one was good, it could use more flavor, the curry helped it. The portions are huge, great for sharing and leftovers. We will come back for sure.
