Sign in to reviewMy experience with Dr. Long Hua and his staff is highly satisfactory. They pay attention to my concerns and are very informative. They have given me follow up calls when needed. Counting myself, there are 4 of us who have chosen him as our PCP. Highly recommended.
I had changed to an HMO and was not used to going to PCP first for everything; and even though this is frustrating at times when it is obvious where you need to be directed, Dr. Hua has been the best of the PCPs I have tried. He listens to me fully, comes prepared having read your file/notes, asks pertinent questions, he responds to messages when they are sent, and he provides efficient/timely actions/treatment/authorizations. This should be something that all PCPs do; however, they do not...still--he does. His(?) staff or the staff at Fountain Valley is also effective in communication and assistance, which also makes the process less stressful and more efficient. I have been with him for a little over a year, so enough time to see consistency is there.
He was rude and inconsiderate to the fact that I was three months postpartum. I recently moved from out of state and needed to quickly see a new PCP to follow up on my blood pressure as I had preeclampsia with my pregnancy. This doctor let me know I should lose weight and also prescribed me medication that I should not have been taking due to nursing. Luckily I was able to do my own research before taking the medication. He's inconsiderate, does not listen and a terrible doctor. I do not recommend anyone going to him.
Dr. Long Hua, is a very good doctor that gives me what I actually need not like other doctors who just want to make money. The Dr. is professional and the facility staff is always friendly.
Dr. Hua provides us with great professional care. Highly recommended !!! We have found a fantastic new doctor.
