Lotus Pond ---service was good but the food not so much. Lotus Pond's location is central with plenty of parking around the restaurant. The service was friendly and efficient . Orders came out fast. The food flavor and quality was definitely less than I'm used to in the Portland area. The goi đu đủ was too sweet and not flavorful. The bò la lot was good and probably the best item ordered. The Phở dac biet broth was not good and too salty. Other items ordered were just mediocre at best. Prices were very reasonable. Handicap doable. Final take---again good service but food was less good.
The Pho broth was very flavorful and the honey walnut prawns were delicious and fresh. I ordered the Duck Pho which was described as duck meat with beef bone broth. The duck meat contained many bones and was not what my expectations were based on the menu description. I asked the server and he only offered a fork and knife and not a replacement. This was disappointing.
Yummy fried rice with pork belly! We came with our toddler a little before 12 on a Sunday and were seated quickly, good place to take the kid before the lunch rush. Bathroom was also clean btw which is always appreciated!
Everything I've had from this restaurant is fantastic. Delicious food, large portions, great service - the best Vietnamese food I've had outside of Vietnam. Great to eat in person, but they also impressed as catering for a friend's wedding recently. They had so many options, including Vietnamese coffee, which they delivered to the venue. The wings in particular were amazing. Cannot recommend enough!
Probably the best Vietnamese food we've had in Seattle so far! If you find yourself here, do yourself a favor and order some spring rolls on the side... Seriously delicious. Customer service was also fantastic. I didn't catch his name, but our server was the best; I don't think I've ever met a server as happy as he was. And the restaurant's decor and atmosphere really added to our experience. 10/10 experience. I really have nothing bad to say about Lotus Pond.
