Louis Auto Electric

Louis Auto Electric is an auto repair shop at 2718 S Miro St in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is a local option for drivers dealing with car electrical problems, wiring issues, starting trouble, or electrical faults that are difficult to pin down. Customer experiences describe help diagnosing and repairing electrical issues on vehicles including a Ford F-150 and a truck with wiring problems. Reviews also mention starter installation, making the shop relevant to drivers who already have a replacement part and need a mechanic to fit it. If an electrical concern is disrupting your daily driving, Louis Auto Electric is a focused place to ask about diagnosis and repair.

A recurring theme in customer feedback is clear, considerate communication. Reviewers describe Kenny and the team as helpful, respectful of their time, and willing to explain what was happening during the repair process. One customer appreciated receiving an estimate by phone before bringing in a starter for installation, while another said the team helped determine that the issue was not electrical after all. Rather than treating every problem as the same, the shop’s reported approach includes diagnosing the concern and, when appropriate, coordinating with another local repair business. That can be useful when a vehicle’s symptoms point beyond a single specialty.

Customers also mention timely work and fair prices. One reviewer said a starter installation was completed in about two hours; another described wiring repairs completed the same day on two visits. These are individual customer experiences, not a promise that every repair will have the same turnaround or cost, but they offer practical context for what some drivers have experienced. The shop has a 4.6-star rating from 79 reviews. For a repair involving electrical diagnosis, wiring, or a starting system, drivers can call ahead to describe the symptoms, ask whether the shop can take on the work, and discuss an estimate and timing before making the trip.
