Great Food and Excellent Service! I had a really great dining experience here. Both the food and the service were wonderful from start to finish, making it a memorable meal. We checked out their drink menu , which features a fantastic selection of cocktails and a great happy hour. Had Lua Rita , was really good, For the food, the beef pho ( Lua beef pho bò) was deliciou the broth was very flavorful, clean, and topped with plenty of fresh herbs and a fresh jalapeno slice. The shaking beef bo lúc lăc plate was also excellent; the beef was tender, savory, and paired perfectly with the seasoned rice and crisp side salad. We also enjoyed the refreshing chicken cabbage salad ( viet chicken salad Gǒi Gà ), which was light, crisp, and served with crunchy shrimp chips. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit, making sure we were well taken care of. It’s a great spot for high-quality Vietnamese food and excellent hospitality. Definitely worth a visit!

This is the best vietnamese food I've had in Houston! I'm so happy!! We got the pork spring rolls to split for a starter--divine. The dipping sauce is out of this world insanely good. I had the salt and pepper tofu (pictured). I have eaten a (frankly alarmingly) massive amount of tofu in my lifetime, and this tofu was so delicious I was dancing in my chair. It's seasoned so perfectly and is SO crisp and pillowy and my mouth is watering typing this omg. Do you see those little sauteed green onions and garlic on top of the tofu?? OTHERWORLDLY. I also had the butterfly pea tea, which is cute and purple! Lightly sweet, very refreshing. I am soooooooo excited to try more things from lua viet! The service was very friendly and super swift. The restaurant was very clean and bright.

This is a counter-service Vietnamese restaurant. The food is decent, but it is relatively expensive for Vietnamese cuisine in Houston. They offer a good selection of rice dishes and noodle soup, with the bo luk luk being pretty good. Portion size is average. They have a good beverage selection with a interesting selection of Tractor juices. The environment is modern, clean, bright, and comfortable, above average for Vietnamese shops. They have an indoor seating area and a decent patio outside with shade. A reasonable choice in the area if you are prioritizing a more comfortable environment with good enough food and can tolerate the slightly higher prices.

Really good Vietnamese food with a lot of healthy options. My friends and I dropped in for lunch. You order at the register and not much to be said about service per se. We shared some spring rolls which were pretty good but I would say had way too many greens! Lol! The peanut sauce was very nice and rich albeit a bit too sweet for me. I got the Chicken curry Ga Xao Lan and was very happy with it. Flavorful, spicy, plenty of curry- was absolutely delicious! I believe one of my buddies got the Shaking beef bo luc lac and the other got the Angus seared beef. The both loved their dishes too. They have a good drink menu too and wish I had tried some of their teas.

We've been coming here for about the past year. Food is mostly consistent. We dine in and order carry out about an even amount. There are two different gentleman that are usually on shift, running the food and cleaning the tables. They are very nice and speedy. Cashiers are usually dry. Barely speak. It's a chill spot. Standard cafe vibe. Not much of an ambiance, but it works. I recommend the garlic egg noodles with chicken (the chicken can be hit or miss). When ordering online, they don't give you soy or chile paste with the orders, so be sure to ask when you're picking up.
