Lunar's Pho

I first heard about this place from my friend from the boxing gym who helps run this restaurant. Since I was in the area once day I said to myself, "why not check this place out". I first went in and the waiter was very courteous and I choose to seat myself in the corner. The restaurant itself is a bit rustic as professional reviewers would say but I love the small business "mom and pop" family business shop the place has going. I sat down and noticed that the tables were all clean as well as the utensils that were placed. I'll preface this by saying im not much into Vietnamese food but I do love eating Bahn Mi sandwiches which I ordered the grilled chicken as well as a 3 pc. egg roll appetizer. As soon as I got my sandwich, the meat tasted fresh as if it were off the grill, the bread was just right, and the veggies were also on point. Being a spice head, I also enjoyed putting the pickled jalapenos they had on the side of the table with some siracha. The egg rolls were also pretty good since they gave me some sauce or something (i forgot what it was) and pretty much completed my meal. Overall, I thought this place was great and the hospitality from the waiter was on point making sure my water was filled (ended up giving me the whole large bottle) and getting my food to me in a timely manner. My only constructive feedback is that the lighting is dark which made me feel a little sluggish but the natural lighting from the windows balanced that out. But thats okay as I was watching FGC street fighter/Tekken videos to keep me going. As someone who supports small businesses, I highly recommend this place if you want some good Vietnamese food.

Food was delicious both the steak/oxtail pho and the crunchy wings are my new fave. Will definitely be back.

We loved eating here! I love Banh Mi, so I have high standards and the pork banh mi blew me away. The best ingredients and delicious bread- we might have to come back before we leave. And the banana cake is simply divine, truly decadent and mouth watering. Highly recommend!

We went to Lunar's Pho on a cold winter's day hoping for some delicious Vietnamese food and we scored!! It was our first visit and we really only have high praise for all the dishes we tried. We ordered the Eggs Rolls ( Note: We asked for the peanut sauce to try with the Egg Rolls. Dish normally comes with a different sauce but that's how we roll some days), Meatballs Pho and the Shrimp Fried Rice. All the dishes were very flavorful and quite satisfying! To finish off our meal we ordered the Banana Cake- which was fire!!! So insanely good, I wished we'd ordered one more to take home. Great service and a very pleasant vibe inside. Overall, we loved our meals there and give them 5 enthusiastic stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
