The Korean-style spa concept encourages visitors to arrive early and take advantage of the soaking and scrubbing areas before their scheduled treatments. This pre-treatment ritual helps prepare the body and mind, making the massage experience even more beneficial. The spa also provides access to showers, ice and hot tubs, as well as steam and dry saunas, giving guests a full wellness experience all under one roof.

The facilities at LUX SPA are clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable environment for every visit. I love this spa and the sweet ladies that work there. (Shout out to Jane who is cute as a button and sings the whole time she works on me.😂) Make sure you go early to soak and scrub before your treatment. The body scrub and massage is amazing and I always feel like a shiny new penny when I leave. They definitely get up close and personal there so be prepared for that and be comfy being naked around strangers. It’s a delightful cultural experience and the cafe is good too!

Though the facility seemed older than Kspa, it was still nice and clean. I like that it has more small rooms. The first time there the place was like a maze and felt like you could easily walk to the wrong place lol but once you learn where everything is it's fine. So fun and relaxing.

My mom and I went to this Korean spa for a late Mother's Day. We made appointments for services in the morning and then came in in the afternoon to enjoy the showers, ice and hot tubs, and steam and dry saunas before our massages. Turns out we missed a Mother's Day discount. We each got lockers with keys, towel sets, a toothbrush, and razor and a shirt and shorts to wear. I got her the 100 minutes Gold scrub and massage package with the hair and body wrap and facial. She said her therapist worked really diligently and kindly helped her sit up and down. She said all of her aches and pains were gone afterwards and she felt young again. The skin on her arms looked smooth and springy and her face also looked fresher and more youthful around her jaws. Her hair was also smooth with no flyaways. Because of her arthritis she needed assistance getting up from the clay ball beds and mats in the salt brick room but she enjoyed them and the showers where you could sit on a sturdy stool. There are baskets for your belongings, stools, and soaking bowls if you need them. She said the sequence of shower, hot tub, saunas, massage/services, then hot clay and salt rooms, shower were a good sequence. There was a dressing area with mirrors, hair dryers, lotion, hair spray, tissues/swabs, sinks and comfortable chairs. The men's and women's sections are separated by the common/services area. The staff said each stays in their own area marked men's and women's, but there is a co-ed area in between where you wait for your massages where clothing is required. The entrances to both sections are staffed. There is a women's clothing vendor near the women's entrance. I got a 60-minute acupressure session with Yuna. It felt like a Thai massage without all of the stretching and more pointed pressure in different areas. The masseuse was strong and also used her body weight (walked on me). I would recommend her if you like the above. It was relaxing. There are massage chairs, too...$1 for 5 min. It was a nice experience, but not as quiet sometimes because some of the customers would talk loudly, or listen to their phones without headphones or make calls in quiet no cell phone areas. It would be great if staff were gently reminding customers not to use cell phones in restricted areas or reminded them when checking in not to use them inside the spa where people are not clothed. The spa is in the Little Korea/Little Saigon commercial area, is used by locals, and it had a ethnic community feel. It was clean and was constantly being cleaned and serviced.
