Sign in to reviewIt was my first time there, and the service was fantastic, with everyone being so kind! I had my Gel x done by Hellen and a pedicure by Anna Moon, and both of them did an amazing job! I absolutely love my pedicure!! Update: I went back a week later to get my nails removed because they grew too quick, and then also got their cheapest manicure, honestly it was the most frustrating experience I had ever had, because I didn’t want gel I asked for regular nail paint with my manicure, and it was such a pain, first of all she didn’t take off the gel x properly and started applying nail polish, off course it was going to get messy, but she took it off and then re applied it, it too more than 2 hours to just take them off and do the (least bothered) manicure. I told her beforehand that my nails are weak and not so strong, maybe I shouldn’t blame her for over filling my nails but she was supposed to be the professional, and I expected her to know better. It took my a while to post the review because I was so frustrated and traumatised by that experience and also because they did such an amazing job originally that I felt bad giving them a bad review. They really did do a great job with the gel x.
This is the second time I’ve been to Luxe, both times with Tina. I got the gel builder with cat eye polish. I’ve had them for almost 2 weeks and am still amazed everytime I look at them. They are HANDS down my favorite nails to date! They were pricey, but well worth it. The regular gel and powder always ends up chipping, but these have held up perfectly, even after a couple pottery sessions.
As a “tourist” in California, I was very pleased that Luxe was able to accommodate me on such short notice. Tina was fabulous! Very professional and friendly. She did a wonderful job on my nails. Also, Natalie was able to “fancy up” my granddaughter with French tips for her nails. Job well done, ladies and Luxe!
I’ve tried a few nail salons in San Diego, but Luxe Nails & Spa is truly on another level. The quality of service here is fabulous. I had the pleasure of getting my nails done by Ms. Tina, and my nails have never looked better. She’s meticulous, warm, and genuinely talented. May you always be booked and busy, girl! great price and service! very clean, comfy chairs, and super kind staff. Every person there (besides me lol) were talking and laughing with the staff there. Pedicure regular was a great experience, fast, but efficient at the same time. she did a great job of cleaning up my nail beds and maintenance.10/10, will go again!
