This place is GREAT! I have never been to a pawn shop and was hesitant because of some of the reviews. However my curious son wanted to go on an adventure so of course I followed. I was so pleasantly surprised. The people were so kind and …

I visited Magazine Pawn Shop twice during my recent trip to New Orleans, and it was easily one of the highlights of my time in the city. The shop itself is great, but the staff truly makes the experience. I had a wonderful time chatting with Christine, who is incredibly friendly and impressively knowledgeable about their inventory. Meeting Donna (such a cutie!) was also a pleasure. They make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. If you’re looking for a spot with great energy and expert service, definitely stop by. I’ll be making this a mandatory stop every time I’m back in NOLA!

What a cool place. I was on Magazine street eating lunch and saw this treasure! I went in and had the best time looking through the collection of DVDs and Blu-ray discs. I got 10! Ms. Christine was such a nice woman and she was so kind to every person that walked in...including me! I wish I played guitar bc I would have bought one!
