Majestic Nail Bar

I wanted to try this place a few times before I left a review. Yesterday was my 4th time going and I brought a friend. They are consistently top notch. The only place where builder gel works for me and they have a very nice variety of colors. I haven’t stuck with one tech because I wanted to try all and they have all worked out for me. Michelle is my favorite because yesterday she knew I wasn’t 100% satisfied with the color match for my toe nail color and she did not rest until I was happy. I’ve never been treated with that much care at a nail salon but it’s something that will stay with me for a while because that is customer service at it’s best and I’ll always come back here especially since it’s right next to my gym!

I was in from out of town and happened to find this place. The staff was super friendly and helpful I'm helping me select a design and color. Trusting a nail tech can be challenging but Susan waa super understanding of my concerns and did an amazing job!

I gave this salon two chances, and unfortunately both experiences were disappointing. During my first visit, I got a full set and gel polish on my toes. The very next day, the gel polish on my toes started peeling and falling off, which should not happen after just one day. I decided to give them another chance about a week and a half later. 🤦‍♀️I went in for acrylic nails & toes polish. I understood that I didn’t have an appointment, but I ended up waiting over two hours because there was only one person available to do acrylics. What I don’t understand is why I also had to wait so long for my toes, especially since that service didn’t seem related to the acrylic wait. After all that waiting, my acrylic nails were made extremely thin and started breaking within three days. Because of the long wait, I also ended up not getting my toes done. This was especially frustrating because I had a graduation to attend and was hoping everything would look nice for the event. I tried this salon twice, but both visits resulted in poor-quality work and a lot of wasted time. Based on my experience, I would not return.

​I absolutely would not recommend. The nail stylist was super rough, kept yanking my fingers, and repeatedly told me to "relax" just to become even more aggressive. The finished nails were nothing to write home about: glitter was poking out and the finish was rough. I can't even say the price was great—it was average at best.

I rarely take the time to write a review, but this place was worth sharing about. I am an extremely picky person when it comes to getting my nails done. Sanitation is not something I mess around with. Because of this I have avoided nail salons that were not located in a spa or club of some sort. However, I have lived in Plano for some time now and I always see Majestic. They seem clean and so today I decided on a whim to go in. It was extremely well kept and clean, and they made sure to extra sanitize the tools for me because I told them that was important to me. I got the dip with tips and a design for $65. Lee was an absolute pleasure. She listened to me and allowed me to change my mind on the length of my nails and she never rolled her eyes. She smiled and was kind. This is huge because I found at large nail salons, customer service is rarely a top priority because so many people come in and out. I will for sure be returning to Majestic, and seeing my girl Lee! I recommend this place! I did not get a pedicure but it looked clean and nice.
