Mala Town 自选麻辣烫 is a hot pot restaurant in Las Vegas, Nevada, serving customizable mala tang for diners who want to choose their own ingredients and enjoy a hot, satisfying bowl without cooking at the table. Located at 5960 Spring Mountain Rd #1D, Las Vegas, NV 89146, the restaurant offers a casual way to make a meal your own, whether you are stopping in for lunch or looking for comforting, spicy food. Its customer rating is 4.7 out of 5, based on 842 reviews.

The experience starts with a bowl and tongs, then you select from the available ingredients, including vegetables and proteins. Your choices are weighed, and customer reviews report a price of $15.99 per pound. Because ingredients have different weights, the final cost depends on what goes into your bowl; diners who are watching their budget may want to keep that in mind while choosing. This self-serve format lets you tailor the mix and portion to your appetite, with plenty of room to build a bowl around vegetables, meat, or a combination of both.

Broth is central to the meal, and reviewers mention a selection of about ten styles, including a Sichuan base with a bold, spicy flavor. Some customers also recommend asking about a dried base option if you prefer a more concentrated taste than a traditional broth. Spice preferences vary, so the available choices can suit diners seeking a gentler bowl as well as those who enjoy a more intense mala kick. The appeal is in combining ingredients and broth to create a bowl that feels personal rather than ordering a fixed hot pot set.

Reviews often describe the food as flavorful and the service as friendly and attentive. Some visitors appreciate how quickly their food arrives, while others note that ingredient freshness can feel average or that weighing ingredients affects how filling the price feels. These varied experiences are useful context when deciding what to order: choose ingredients you enjoy, consider their weight, and ask staff if you have questions about the broth or the process. Customers also mention helpful conversations with staff, contributing to an approachable first visit.

Mala Town 自选麻辣烫 can be a good fit for spicy-food fans, solo diners, couples, friends, or anyone craving a customizable hot meal without the longer, cook-at-the-table style of hot pot. It is also an option for visitors exploring Las Vegas’s local dining scene and looking for a different way to enjoy vegetables, proteins, and Sichuan-inspired broth in one bowl. With its ingredient-by-ingredient format and range of broth choices, this Las Vegas hot pot restaurant makes it easy to shape the meal around your taste and appetite.

First time at Malatown for a Saturday lunch. No wait time and the food came out very fast. Everything is a flat $15.99/lb. While the ingredient freshness is average, the flavors really shine. Pro-tip: They offer a dried base option—if you prefer a stronger, more intense flavor over the traditional soup, definitely go with that! The paste and soup are already above average, but the dry base takes it up a notch. We also signed up for their free membership card and saved $15 on our ~$75 bill, which made the value great. Plus, they have unlimited free tea! Deal Alert: On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you can get 50% off ($7.99/lb) just by sharing a social media post. At that price, it’s a total steal.

From AZ and wanted to try some LV local hot pot places and stumbled across Mala Town. Service was great- Paul was wonderful to chat with. You pay by your bowl weight after you fill it with your ingredients. I tried the Sichuan base and omg it was amazing- spicy and delicious. Meats were fresh and good, they had a lot of noodle varieties too. I do wish they had more vegetables and maybe tteobboki to choose from but just personal preference. Definitely give them a try!

I feel the 15.99 price is too high. Broccoli and corn are relativity cheap ingredients but are dense and can add real weight to your food. A flat rate doesn't make sense considering that. I also feel like a put more meat in my bowl than what was actually brought out to me. The staff is very friendly. I dont like that we cannot choose our table. The food does taste amazing though. Just not worth the price.

This style of hotpot is incredible if you don't want to sit and cook and talk and just want to get comfort food which is VERY DELICIOUS and healthy. They have an expansive vegetable and meat selection, 10 different broth styles some with spice levels, a very attentive and friendly staff, and a nice sauce station to make your own sauce. Paul is your go to man there he checks on everyone, and is very friendly and knowledgeable of the foods and will answer any questions from the manner of spice or intensity to the texture of the meat. 120° or 30° malatown soups fit all climate. The soups are by weight 15.99 per pound and I eat about 3-4 pounds each time I visit

My first time ever here- was everything I wanted in a hot pot experience as someone who loves spicy Asian food. You start with a big bowl, tongs, and fill-ins and proteins to your heart’s …
