I’m an out-of-towner and stopped in because it’s close to where I’m staying. I expected this place to be like a chain with okay food, but severely misjudged. It’s very modern and clean, but authentic. The staff was more than welcoming and service was great. I had seen the Rangoon on the menu and was shocked at the price, but seriously worth it. It was hands down the best Rangoon I’ve ever had. I also ordered the fried pork dumplings which were noteworthy as well. The pho is where I’m not sure how to feel. The noodles had so much flavor but the broth tasted like it was missing something. It also had a spice I couldn’t put a finger on that was very overwhelming. I wish it would have had a bit more cilantro but I also understand that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. I don’t think it was bad, but maybe a signature flavor for this restaurant. The meatballs were okay, they tasted homemade and fresh but I’ve had better elsewhere. Overall, everything was absolutely delicious and I’d recommend anyone staying in the area to give it a try!
Mrs. Flip Out and her friend went here for supper and they both really enjoyed it. Mrs. Flip Out had the pho with lean brisket and her friend had the beef rice platter. Both dishes had great flavor and were delicious. Service was very attentive and prompt. Mrs. Flip Out said we will have to go again as a family and we look forward to going.
My wife and I tried four different menu items. All were fantastic. Our two main dishes were the vermicelli noodle grilled pork and the grilled beef rice platter. Food temp was perfect as well as the presentation. There were only a few other patrons dining in. Service was excellent. A great place with options for anyone. Highly recommend!

We had a very good meal at the newly re-opened Mama Hong’s. We had been twice before when they were under previous management and both times food and service were had. We were very excited to see they had re-opened. With this visit, the pho and beef rice platter were both perfect. Wonderful service.
