I love coming here. Yesterday we came and saw all the displays on sale and almost everything else was on sale and I got a little sad because I thought they were closing but I asked and they said they were not closing just restructuring the store and bringing in new things ❤️❤️ 😁 happy they are not closing. Supplies, Bibles, T-shirts and lots of encouragement materials. Thankful they are not closing.

Mardel has such a beautiful bookstore and such a thoughtful concept. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and exactly the kind of place you hope to have a meaningful experience in. Unfortunately, our experience with the engraving service was incredibly disappointing. My mother-in-law was so excited to have multiple Bibles/books engraved and was nothing but kind and respectful throughout the interaction. As soon as the employee realized she had more than one item to engrave, she visibly rolled her eyes and let out a deep sigh, making it clear that she was irritated by the request. It was a continuous display of annoyance that made us feel as though we were inconveniencing her simply by requesting a service the store offers. What made it even more disheartening was that the store was virtually empty at the time, so there didn't appear to be any reason for that reaction. Instead of sharing in what should have been a special and memorable moment, we were met with impatience and annoyance. It definitely dampened our experience and left a bad taste in our mouths. This is not the experience we had hoped for at such a beautiful and thoughtful establishment. We sincerely hope this was an isolated incident, because the concept and store itself are wonderful. We simply wish the customer service had reflected the same level of care and kindness that the store is meant to inspire.
Went here today to get a Bible engraved, it looks great and the gentlemen who helped me was fantastic, I wish I got his name! However, the older woman named Maria at the check out needs to check her attitude. If I would not have encountered her, this would be a 5 star very positive review, and if I wouldn’t have encountered the man who engraved my Bible this would be a much worse 1 star review.. Maria, I will pray for you, and remember God doesn’t discriminate! (stay clear of her if you can, I unfortunately am not so lucky!)
