Located at 10122 Bandley Dr, Marina Food is a Chinese supermarket in Cupertino, CA that serves shoppers looking for practical Asian grocery options in the South Bay. With a 3.9-star rating from more than 1,240 reviews, it is the kind of local market people talk about in concrete terms: fresh vegetables, a broad seafood section, familiar pantry staples, and a convenient address near homes, offices, and weekend errands. Open daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Marina Food gives busy families, students, and home cooks a dependable place to stock up throughout the week.
The store is especially useful for Chinese and Asian ingredients that are not always easy to find in mainstream supermarkets. Shoppers mention fresh Chinese vegetables most days, fresh produce, fresh meat, live seafood, and a good variety of frozen foods. The aisles also carry Asian condiments, sauces, snacks, pastries, and everyday staples that help anchor weeknight cooking, holiday meals, hot pot nights, and casual family dinners. For anyone building a pantry around rice, noodles, sauces, seafood, greens, and quick freezer items, this Cupertino Chinese supermarket offers selection with a neighborhood-market feel.
Beyond groceries, Marina Food also offers prepared-food conveniences that make it more than a place to grab ingredients. Customer reviews point to a deli area with buffet-style Chinese food, tables for eating, and a bakery with distinctive filo-style desserts and cookies. That mix makes the market helpful for shoppers who want to pick up fresh produce and seafood, then add a ready-to-eat meal or sweet treat before heading home. It is a good fit for office lunch breaks, quick dinners, shoppers who prefer familiar flavors, and families planning a low-effort meal.
The atmosphere is busy, authentic, and very product-forward. Reviews describe a large Asian market packed with inventory, fresh cases, and specialty items, while also noting that the space can feel tight, older, colder, or harder to navigate when the store is full. In other words, Marina Food is not trying to feel like a polished chain supermarket; it is more of a practical Asian grocery destination where selection and convenience come first. Shoppers who value fresh vegetables, live seafood, and hard-to-find ingredients will likely understand its appeal.
For people searching online for an Asian grocery store, Chinese market, seafood counter, or Chinese supermarket in Cupertino, CA, Marina Food is worth considering for its range and daily hours. It is particularly helpful for Chinese, Vietnamese, and broader Asian home cooking, from leafy greens and sauces to frozen dumplings, bakery items, and prepared dishes. Located at 10122 Bandley Dr, Cupertino, CA 95014, United States, Marina Food remains a familiar stop for South Bay shoppers who want authentic ingredients without leaving Cupertino.

Sign in to reviewAsian grocery store with a unique selection you don’t always see elsewhere. The produce looks super fresh, and I love the thoughtful decor—it makes shopping here feel extra pleasant!”
Nice grocery store for Asian foods. But why do they have mismatched grocery carts? Some are very old and beat up. They even have old shopping carts from Walmart and new old stock ones from Dai Thanh Supermarket located in San Jose. They really need to purchase new shopping carts of their own with their own store name on them.
Marina food was one of the only two Chinese grocery stores in the South Bay back in the nineties. Over the years it has not been catching up with the competition. It is dirtier and darker. And the prices are not any better. There is a deli with many tables. A friend of mine likes to come here to get their Chinese fried donuts which seem to sell out easily.
Authentic Asian Market with fresh produce fresh meat and live seafood. Very large Asian store with all types of Asian condiments, pastries, and frozen foods. There is also a restaurant that sells buffet style Chinese food as well as a bakery that sells unique filo style deserts and cookies. They also sell pots and pans and rice cookers and their liquor section is superb with Japanese whiskey and other alcoholic beverages.
The Chinese vegetables are fresh most days. The fresh seafood selection has a good variety, at an affordable price. They stuff every open space in the market, so getting around is a hassle. Expect the market to be a few degrees colder than outside as they don't turn on heat. Go for the convenience. If you have time H-mart is close by and much better.
