Koko at Massage by Design is not only an incredible lymphatic massage therapist, but also the exact kind of person you need in your life after undergoing surgery. Unfortunately, my liposuction recovery was anything but smooth and I didn’t contact Koko until I was several weeks post-op and worried I had made a terrible decision. Koko got me in quickly and from the moment I arrived, I was immediately put at ease and given the reassurance that I so desperately needed. After my first lymphatic drainage session, I saw a significant immediate decrease in overall swelling and discomfort. She is highly experienced and knowledgeable in this type of massage and has truly seen it all when it comes to cosmetic post-op patients. Not to mention she is also incredibly friendly and fun to talk to. Koko also gave me lots of tips and techniques for things I could do at home in between session to speed up the recovery process. Since working with Koko, I have seen major improvements in swelling, bruising, and discomfort that likely would have taken months to resolve on their own. If you are planning to undergo liposuction, BBL, or other cosmetic procedure OR if you have already undergone surgery but haven’t been happy with the slow recovery process, I highly recommend Koko for lymphatic drainage massage. She is a godsend!

Koko was my massage therapist and I absolutely love her. Before going into my bbl I did research on therapists and felt like she was the best fit. I called her and she helped me pick a date after surgery to plan on coming in. After my surgery I was a complete mess, In the worst pain and filled with anxiety. After just one session with her not only did my body feel better, but I felt reassured and way more relaxed about what I was going through. I saw her again last night, now a little over a week post op and I am just blown away at how knowledgeable and experienced she is taking care of someone that has gone through lipo and fat transfer. I am so thankful that I found Koko!

My muscles were feeling really tight from two days of jumping and swinging my arms. I found massage by design on goggle maps and since it was within walking distance, I decided to give it a try. First, it is recommended that you call to make an appointment. Since I was from out of town, Jenny was very accommodating after I b explained my situation. She had 30 mins before her next appointment and she was confident she can help loosen up the muscles in that amount of time. She did. She admits she’s “rough” but really she’s probing every strains of muscles to relax them. Overall, it was a good 30 mins. Another 2.5 days of training and I may have to see her again soon. Highly recommended.

I went in today for a deep tissue massage. It was definitely the best massage I've had in my life. I have serious knots and tension in my upper back/shoulder area. For years I've gone from masseuse to masseuse trying to get a really good massage and I've never gotten just what I needed out of it, but today I finally got the massage I've been searching for. Jenny Haller was amazing. I'm kind of a small lady and I'm pretty sure in the past my masseuses were afraid to hurt me or break me, but Jenny gave me just what I needed. The massage was painful, as I needed it to be to get the relief I needed. She didn't go too easy on me, which is exactly what I wanted. I told her up front I could handle the pain and she actually listened to me. She also kept checking on me throughout the massage to make sure she wasn't doing anything I didn't want or couldn't handle. BEST MASSAGE OF MY LIFE. SERIOUSLY. I highly recommend Jenny & Massage by Design!!! I feel amazing!

Best massage in San Diego! Koko and Lisa are amazing. Therapeutic yet relaxing touch. These ladies are incredibly knowledgeable about the body and they will leave you feeling like a brand new person. This is no light lotion application, these ladies will rub out all the kinks that life leaves in your body.
