I went to Joy at Massage Haven on Eldridge having some intense back pain! I got the thai massage for an hour and the walk on. It relieved so much tension and I left not bent over walking like I came in. Definitely recommend! I will be back for sure!

So I am a massage enthusiast who moved to Houston late last year and have been searching for a masseuse since arriving. Suffice to say, my search is over! Angie is an incredible masseuse - a masseuse for masseuses if you will. This was my second time visiting Massage Heaven, my first visit with a different therapist was average but this visit with Angie was extraordinary. She is experienced and has excellent technique. She combines traditional Thai techniques with Swiss and Shiatsu. She was focused and methodical, as well as intuitive - sensing without me telling her that I had old knee injuries. At the end of my session I was pleasantly surprised that she spoke impeccable English, as many of my favorite masseuses in previous cities I've lived in were skillful in massage but not as well versed in English. I enjoyed my session with her so much I've booked another for my husband and I for tomorrow. If it is your first time at any of the Massage Heaven locations, ask for Angie. She won't disappoint. A bonus is that the location is clean and aromatic.

Revised: owner refunded in full $55 in cash. For that reason I’m increasing the star to 3 stars from 2 stars because the owner showed accountability. Better off taking ibuprofen. Where do I start with this place? 1.Was asked if I was going to tip up front. 2. Atmosphere serene but smelled of garlic Lunch 3. No technical expertise on massage reflexology/ tissue connectivity 4. Tech was rough. Even after stating pressure level caused pain 5. Was shorted 10 minutes of a 30 minute massage. Scheduled for 2:15 massage ended at 2:36pm 6. Neck still hurts along with new lower back pain after 7. Would not go back. $55 Money grab

I had a very good first experience. The environment was clean and relaxing. I got a deep tissue massage and felt like a new man walking out of there. However, they were pushy about the tip amount. I tip more than 20% at massage parlors, so for them to still get pushy makes me uncomfortable about returning.

They charged me 4 times for the massage. Then when I complained the manager said that 3 payments would go away. As 2 payments subsisted, I called again but the manager refused to refund me. I had to call my bank, file a claim and get one payment cancelled so as to recover my money. Never again at that place !!! 10 months later I receive this reply from manager who claims I was refunded, received a complementary massage and gave good feedback. These are 3 lies !!! Again, stay away.
