Sign in to reviewWhen I came to review I was so shocked to see so many negative ones- the staff was very respectful and attentive. I checked in via phone number at the front desk & was able to pay my tip over card to which she handed us cash to know our therapist were being taken care of. Every aspect of this couples massage exceeded my expectations and I will be recommending this place to everyone!
I came across this place on groupon . I decided to try it since it was such a great deal . Upon arrival the lady at front desk was rude , and communication was tough . Throughout my massage it was not relaxing the lady upfront came a few times and was talking to the person massaging me . It was not serene, the lady massaging me would keep leaving . At the end I felt forced to leave a tip even though the sign says tip is greatly appreciated but not mandatory. I am a great at tipping, but I didn’t not think it was a great experience. I would not return .
Absolutely horrible place. Rude woman at the reception. I had booked a couples massage on Groupon and she grabbed my phone to validate the groupon voucher. The massage therapists talked through the entire massage. One took a phone call in the middle of the massage. Their chatter was not just disturbing but they distracted each other and sometimes stopped the massage focussing on the conversation. I had planned to give $0 tip but ended up giving them $5 each. They were demanding $20 each and I found (a) the idea of them demanding a tip weird and they definitely did not deserve anything.
This was my partners and I first Massage1 experience and it will definitely not be our last. The 60 minute couples massage we received was beyond our expectations. Highly recommend a hot stone massage!
I had purchased a couples Groupon for this place. Had called to reserve, and unfortunately could only give notice of cancellation 15 minutes before the appointment time. The man who answered was very verbally upset with me, making sure I knew how wrong I was for canceling, almost shunning me for my choice. You never know WHY someone has to cancel, it can be a very personal and upsetting reason. Not every day goes in our favor, and of course we were upset to cancel last minute too. The man was very rude, so I decided to refund my Groupon entirely. I’m glad not to give them service, no customer should be spoken to that way.
