Sign in to reviewDecent Vietnamese food. The service wasn't quite up to par; they didn't deliver our food without a reminder as we saw the later parties (who arrived after us) got their food while we waited over half an hour. My water cup had a crack in it. Food wise, I recommend their spicy shaken beef pho and sizzling brisket. Their chili hot sauce has a kick but tolerable.
We were delighted to discover Me Va Con : Mother and Daughters Vietnamese Restaurant, on Telegraph Avenue in Oakland. I ordered tgeir chicken salad and it was delicious! The dining room was spacious. They have a large parking lot and the service was fantastic!
I liked this place the most of the vietnamese places I've tried in oakland/Berkeley area. I am from OC Little Saigon and this place hit the taste buds for me. I really liked their banh mi. The bread was soft and crisp and thin and the ratio of paté, cold cuts, and pickled veggies was perfect. I loved the banh khot and the fact that they separated the herbs and lettuce easily for you to find your perfect bite. I also got the sticky rice with Chinese sausage and it was delicious and hot with the pork. Get the jungle roll and banh mi for sure!
Good Vietnamese food along Telegraph road with plenty of parking spots. We ordered 4 different food and their broth is good as expected. They make your food as you order to ensure freshness, so be patient. Enjoy !
The service and atmosphere were both great — very Instagrammable. However, the food was just okay and not exactly cheap. I ordered the beef pho and Vietnamese spring rolls. The spring rolls were average and didn’t leave much of an impression. The beef pho left my mouth feeling dry, and the flavor was quite bland.
