Sign in to reviewFeels like back to Thailand. Stopped at Mesa, to find a local authentic thai street food in LA. First time here but obviously have heard a lot about how great they are and absolutely delicious. We had ground pork with basil and fried egg over rice. Damn good! This was excellent recommendation and just think about it makes my stomach running again! Secondly, Thai papaya salad, originally has to be spicy but I’m aware of my stomach that might not be able to handle real thai spicy so I had asked them to make it non spicy and OMGGGG it was fantastic. I wish I can have it everyday! Last was a mini boat noodle which is a combo or beef stew, and beef blood in the hot steamy soup. It’s unforgettable. I’ve cried because I couldn’t have it more. Hehehe Love this place at the first sight. Delicious food, friendly and casual service. Definitely come back more often!
I have to admit that I came to this restaurant because of the hype from celebrities like Lisa. But after trying it myself, I can honestly say it did not disappoint. This is truly the flavor that Thai people love — every dish I ordered was delicious. The service was also impressive, with friendly smiles and great attention to detail. If you’re looking for authentic and flavorful Thai food, I highly recommend you come and experience it for yourself.
Me and My girlfriend are obsessed with the basil squid and shrimp rolls. No complaints though, they’re always delicious.
Great famous thai boat noodle dish. The others also good. Thai original taste u can find in LA.
The food is great and the prices are reasonable, but the service and cleanliness could definitely be improved. The Panang Curry was delicious. While the staff was incredibly kind, there was a clear lack of basic service training. We weren't greeted at the door and eventually had to seat ourselves after some confusion at the counter. It took about 10 minutes for a server to approach us. She was very sweet, but the language barrier made it difficult for her to describe the only dessert on the menu. There were also simple oversights, like bringing ice filled cups but leaving the water pitcher empty. Getting the check was equally slow, even with the place nearly empty. Our server forgot our request and began wiping down other tables instead. Also, there was a faint unpleasant smell throughout the restaurant. I would definitely return for the food, but the staff needs more direction to ensure a smoother experience.
