From an investment perspective, this was a fantastic purchase with low property taxes, affordable insurance costs, and excellent rental potential. The house I fell in love with was listed at $199,500. Not only did Mien help me beat out two other offers, but she also managed to get it under contract for $185,000. After the inspection, she masterfully negotiated another $8,000 off, bringing the final price down to $177,000. That is $22,500 under the asking price! On top of that, she negotiated a 1-year home warranty for me. Even after closing, Mien is still going above and beyond by helping me coordinate with general contractors to get quotes and plan my garage conversion.
