In January, I purchased a 2015 Silverado 3500 6.6 Duramax from a Copart Auction to be my new plow truck in Alaska. It was a repo, so I knew it needed work. And boy, was I right. The truck was cheap, but the repairs were necessary and Mikey's really put in the work. After replacing the batteries, starter, and getting new key fobs, it started. Originally, I needed a new Front End using heavy-duty KRYPTONITE parts, a new CP3 Fuel Pump Conversion, salt-proof the frame, and just basic clean-up and service. But as we got into it, they discovered it was missing bolts and other items were installed incorrectly everywhere. Given a broken motor mount and missing parts, we decided to go cab-off for a closer look and found a faulty front seal and just a mess left from the previous owner's DIY Engine and Transmission replacement. Long story short, they basically went over everything with a fine-tooth comb cab-off, replaced all the missing parts, fixed the motor mounts, straightened-out wiring, replaced a leaky manifold, installed a CP3 Fuel Pump conversion, tuned it up, replaced fluids, rebuilt the front end using KRYPTONITE front end parts, leveled it using Kryptonite leveling kit, fixed the leaky seals and gaskets on the engine, new belts, and installed my engine, transmission, and battery warmers (for Alaska) so I could safely drive it back, in winter, from OKC though Alberta, British Columbia, and the Yukon, back to Alaska. We made it with no hiccups. Mikey and his crew were very communicative and sent photos to me as needed. In the end, we even had them have an upholstery shop install leather seats per the request of my wife. The trip, in winter, through the Yukon went fine. We are alive. The truck runs like a champ. I could not be happier and my son (pictured) says 10/10. I will use Mikey's again!

As a repeat customer, I always have confidence when I take my car to Mikey’s automotive. I had my car towed there over the weekend and I knew it would be safe and secure. Even though they were booked solid, they carved out time to fix my car and get me back on the road. In my experience, they do not try to ever sell me on doing something to my car. They only do what the car actually needed, unlike dealers. 💯 honest and competent and fair prices. I wholeheartedly recommend Mikey’s.

I will start off by saying the people there were very pleasant to talk with and I do think they are stand up people. There were a few things going on with my vehicle that needed looked at so it was not exactly a straight forward job (electrical issues, transmission and muffler). That being said, I had a pretty unfortunate experience with them involving my vehicle and was pretty upset with the cost. I set an appointment to bring my truck by 5 days in advance and was assured that my vehicle would be in and out in one day no issues. I was told their specialist in tracking down electrical problems would easily be able to resolve my problems. The day of my appointment, I brought the truck into the shop first thing in the morning (I was the very first person in the store that day) but they only looked at my truck for about 45 minutes just before closing (not sure what the appointment was for). They did perform a transmission fluid flush just before closing, thankfully. I had been out of a vehicle for about 6 days at this point and both my wife and I had to miss work days to share the remaining car. I left the truck overnight and late the next day I got a call back from them saying they had located a rattle on my muffler but could not find or fix any of the electrical issues, which was the main point of bringing the truck in. In the end, both my wife and I had to miss work to share the remaining vehicle for almost a week but my main electrical issues were not fixed or even located. I was charged over $600 for the ordeal and the only good thing to come from it was a transmission flush and a location of a muffler rattle. I tried to explain to the staff present that I didn’t feel the cost was fair given all the money we were out from work and that my truck’s main concern issues were not fixed or even located. Unfortunately, they were unwilling to negotiate at all on the final price.

Mikey’s always does the job right. They care about their customers and are very honest. I’ve used them for years and they are my only option. I would be highly skeptical of any reviews that don’t give them high marks. They take care of my fleet of about 20 vehicles and are always without fail honest and dependable. Thank you Mikey!!!
