I have been at this place multiple times. I like their food and drinks (lavender cocktail is highly recommended) but every time I visit this place no matter how busy they are they always have some problems with service. For example, last time they brought french fries for my kid instead of fruit bowl and I had to wait to water refill and extra napkins forever. So they got very little tip!

The place was decent and the staff were polite during my visit. I liked the atmosphere and some parts of the meal were really good, but a few items didn’t stand out as much as I expected. Still, it wasn’t a bad experience and I’d probably give it another try sometime.

A classic comfort food destination that still delivers after all these years. The French onion soup and the baked goods are genuinely excellent and the warm, cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for a relaxed client lunch. When I'm working in the Aliso Viejo area and need a reliable, quality spot for a mid-day meal, Mimi's always fits the bill. The consistency here over the years is remarkable and worth recognizing.

I had the three course meal with the soup, chicken cordon blue spinach, potatoes, and cake. Everything else was good except the chicken cordon blue. It taste like crunchy paper. It would be nice if the chicken cordon blue was actually freshly prepared because eating frozen food at a sit down restaurant is crazy! I assume the fried chicken is frozen too so i would stay away from the chicken and waffles. I was extremely disappointed for what I paid for. The service was good though.

Nothing to shout about. I selected this restaurant because I was doing a Google search on crêpes. It led me to this restaurant that was only seven minutes away from my current location. When I arrived and looked at the menu, imagine my disappointment when there were no crêpes on the menu. I asked the server if they had crêpes and she said they did not. She said it one time they used to, but no longer. It seems to me they should take crêpes out of a search word in Google. Also, my server was trying to upsell everything. Right down to when I asked for a box. She asked me if I would like to order another muffin or anything else. The food was good.
