Mimi’s Hair and Nails

A friend referred me here, thanks Mindy for a great layering cut, I have really long hair. It was fun watching everyone at work, from kids to adults, all sorts of styles. They serve families really well, even have lollipops for the kids. They are super efficient, fast at their craft, and very affordable. I used to go to Mimi’s in Riverside, great place too, but just too far, so happy to find a new spot to consistently go to! Thank you gals for becoming my new go to!

Honestly have never gotten a "bad" cut here- and there's always someone different cutting my hair. The women here do a great job getting you in and out of here, especially if you are a guy just looking for a straightforward trim. They do exceptionally well if you show them a picture of what you're trying to look like 👌🏻. I bring my kids here too, never any issues whatsoever.

I liked the tone work she did, but I do NOT like the cut!! My hair was barely shoulder length and I just wanted the ends cleaned up, but she took off way too much in the back and I hate it. (Can't even do a ponytail with it.) It took me YEARS to grow my hair to that length and now it's back to where it was 10 years ago! 😭😭 I went here, cuz it was affordable, but I guess this is the real price I pay for going somewhere cheap. (This was supposed to be my birthday present to myself and I hate it.)

Call ahead and save some time but even if you don't, they're fast and do a good job. I've gone for trims between visits to my regular stylist because you can get an appointment or walk in pretty easily and my husband goes there exclusively for his hair cuts. I see lots of people there for color and styling services too and they all seem very happy. Price is great too. Parking sucks because they share the lot with a laundry mat but if you're patient you can park.
