Mimosas Nail Bar - Charlotte

Apparently, I'm late to the party! Looking gor a new spot. I have a unique situation. Im a simple girl. No tips, short nails, but i have long nail beds. I always go classic and short. I was pleasantly surprised. I came on a Sunday and it was bustling. Almost all techs and their 25+ chairs were filled including 15 Mani spots. Therefore, I can't complain about feeling rushed. I decided on the uptown Pedi and polish change. The chairs are beautiful but not strong in massage. I guess it's the make/ model. However, i was granted a mimosa after I sat down. That was great. It was decent. The tech was OK. I dont care for flowers, this I requested the green tea but got rose instead; fine. My face isn't down in the bowl. They tried to have me get my nails done simultaneously but I declined. I wanted a relaxing experience vs a rushed one. I went simple bubble bath on nails as im interviewing. I liked the polish change but she was very nervous about cutting the nails so I had to. Again, I like them short. Im very active. All-in-all it was an ok experience. I can see why the fan fair. Its a beautiful spot. Make sure you request an established tech though. I can see where issues would arise. Im not a fanbof my toes but I get them done regularly so im not going to freak out.

We came for my best friends birthday and had the BESTT experience ever! The manager Anne was so sweet and got us all wine to enjoy while we had pedicure! Our techs were Marilyn, Lavie, and Tom. Everyone was so great, we will DEFINITLEY BE BACK! Most fun I’ve ever had at a nail salon!

Came here for a gel manicure because I heard it was better than the one in midtown. It’s not. I had lots of length on my nails when I arrived and asked for coffin style. This is what I got. I tried showing Lucy what I wanted and kept telling her I didn’t want to lose length but she kept filing the ends down. They were out of two different shades I picked so just had to go with what they had. The nail lacquer was well past done because my nails turned out really lumpy and as soon as she finished she had another worker throw the bottle away. She did an incredibly quick massage with cuticle oil (not lotion) and when she was done she stepped back and said thank you, so I got up to pay and was planning to tip but then she waited and leaned in and kept saying thank you like she was signaling that she expected her tip then. I just won’t be going back to any Mimosas salons. They can’t seem to get anything right.
