I’m not sure how long this halal store has been open but I loved it. It’s fresh dates season and I couldn’t find them anywhere until a sister in the community recommended that I check Mingala and sure enough, they had them. I was worried I …

Good produce at reasonable prices. The shelves could be better organized. Shelf spacing also looks limited therefore some of the items are displayed in bins placed on the floor. There are good middle eastern cooking utensils for making kebabs etc. The lighting and decoration could definitely be improved to draw more foot traffic. I also liked the range of fruits, nuts and vegetables offered here. I plan to revisit. Revisited in June 2026 - Cheese options were far fewer. I found it hard to find the items I normally get. I hope it gets restocked soon.
